Even though there are two mismatches and an altogether missing dragonfly, what you've shown us in this video is a fascinating array of Oddities. Many thanks, Drew and Bethany. Your fold-a-thon during the end credits was a nice touch, too. 👍
Greetings Bethany, Drew, and family fans of Oddity Odysseys! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Bethany and Drew, what is your favorite color and would love to send using mail my Origami cane. Take care, be safe, and enjoy life!
Drew is one lucky dude. Filming all these interesting adventures; and in the company of a pretty co-star (Bethany 😛🍬). Great work, you two, as well as the cameraman.
Bethany, first of all I wanted to let you know I’m really enjoying the stories you’re doing on the new Curiosity Crusades channel! Great stuff! The origami intersections are an interesting idea. I’m sure a lot of work went into them. It’s unfortunate that they have met with various issues but a very interesting subject nonetheless.
Garibaldi is California’s state fish. If Ya’ll go back to Catalina you can snorkel and see them really well. I heard from someone they are delicious but protected and illegal to catch. Haha. Great video. Love you guys
Some say the Golden Trout is also the state fish because the two fish live at opposite elevations in the state and are rare and specific only to California. I’ve seen both and they are magnificent (movie studio voice) ✌️.
I love watching you guys. With that said it is U guys that inspire me and my beautiful girl to travel across county to find these locations. Thank you guys for the best location and trails.
I love your channel but it it also has the weirdest synchronicity with my life. I just took a trip to downtown Santa Monica three days ago (October 2) since I hadn’t been there in over 20 years. I also took the Metro E Line and noticed the frog and sea turtle drinking fountain statues. However, I didn’t know anything about their history. So, thanks again for another great and informative video!
Well must admit, I’ve lived here in walking distance to the focus of your episode for over two decades and never knew about this…. So Yeah! It’s why I love your oddities. lol. But also sadly, the disappointment in your discovery is So Typical of the lack of real thought that The Santa Monica city government has vs its addiction to spending tax money. Without going deep into it, Santa Monica loves to bloatedly feel so overly arrogant about itself that the only thing it seems capable of doing is “trying” to Purchase its own Uniqueness. When in reality is truly lacks any Real Character or True Community feel. It’s like City Hall is addicted to Shopping and can’t Not spend and impulse buys nearly everything it feels it needs at any random whim. With zero long term contemplative forethought. Your episode really helps to unfold that crack in its foundation.

Thank you, Noah!
I loved the effortless folding of the dragon.
Haha the rapid build origami at the end was funny.
So cool! Always love learning about cool things in the area!
Crazy, I have walked through some of these intersections and didn't ever think to look at the ground. Going to do it now.
You find lots of cool stuff. Please keep it up!!!

Kewl! I learned about Origami crease patterns.
😮 Didn't know that. Can you do a video on the old Iverson movie ranch or Corriganville in the SGV?

How fun! ❤god bless y’all
Burst Out 🐠
Why not design better fountains that don’t cause painful contact, or present the art in another mode?
What a jagoff a driver has to be to honk at something taking a few seconds in the intersection.
Did they move the "dangerous" sculptures to another location?
You found ancient relics, public drinking fountains! Next task, find a working pay phone 😆.
A working McDonald's ice cream machine would be even better!
@@OddityOdysseys good point! road trip?
Get a cell phone old man
That honking driver was so rude...obviously not a fan of the channel. 🙂
🤣
I guess this is in the category of art called "if you know you know". And if you know, do you care? Seems like a massive waste of effort
