I bought a 21 trackhawk spent about $2,500 on the igla security system paired with the drone mobile GPS tracking system worth every penny when purchasing 100k vehicles I strongly approve this message 👌
Love the idea of this system especially in light of my car having been stolen last week. The only thing I'm concerned about is if you need to get in the car and get away FAST slowing down for pin entry could be rather troublesome. Aside from that I'm really thinking about getting this system for the next vehicle I purchase.
@@AnyBodyWannaPeanut it’s not a matter of how often I’ve had to get away. It’s a matter of IF I need to move quick and that option isn’t available. Living in one of the worst cities for violent crime forces one to think like this. No moving isn’t an option currently so I have to look at all available options to protect myself and anyone that may ride with me at any given time.
Now, what if the thief connects their device to the vehicle's OBD connector? Won't that override the IGLA? (Just researching this product, as I'm looking to getting it for my vehicle)... thanks!
There was a story just recently about a North York couple that had this exact system installed on their new RX350h (after having their 2 previous cars stolen) and ran into warranty issues with Lexus. That would be my only concern. I don’t know if they ended up getting help or just had few fork out another 20k or something to Lexus to fix it.
I think they ended up getting help but I’m not sure. It sounds like based on that story he had problems with Lexus before installing this unit but went ahead and installed it anyway that’s what caused a lot of the problems. You should definitely make sure you get this installed at a certified Licensed installer. We have had it for three months now and love it.
Hey Sonduren. I actually went to get this installed in the next state to me and they ran into a hiccup with the software. Something to do with my NX being a 2024 so they are working on a patch after the new year. So I am waiting anxiously. But on the other hand, I have had my NX350h for a little over 2 months and really like it. I get a kick out of trying to drive on electric and how silent it is. I think it is quit peppy like you alluded to when you mentioned the lb-ft of torque. My 1st ever hybrid. I also own a 2019 GS350 fsport. It's a nice contrast. Anyway, thanks for your content. Stay well.
I was actually talking to them about it, and that is correct because of the new software. Hopefully it’s resolved soon and I’m glad to hear that you’re loving your hybrid NX. Honestly, I love the looks. Everything has been working well and really phenomenal fuel economy. I do wish the gas tank size was a little bit larger but that is a small complaint.
@@carswithsonduren thanks for the feedback at least I know it wasn't just their inability to install it correctly. Like you I want to have the Peace of mind of not having to worry every time I go somewhere. I was able to get your Palomino with atomic silver
My 2018 RX 350L was stolen out of the Courtyard by the Marriott Hotel parking lot near Montreal Airport last September. Recently I bought the new 2024 RX 350h. Want to get the IGLA, but haven't found solid info whether it's compatible with the new hybrid RX 350. Do you know it works?
Got it installed and I am having trouble changing the password and also my phone app is not working with it so I can’t start my truck or lock and unlock doors
I need something that's get in and go. My concern is that the time wasted inputing the pin code is giving the thief's advantage to put a firearm closer.
It will be interesting to see what happens if and when a warranty issue arrises for you Sonduren. As stated by another follower here, messing around with the systems will void Lexus warranty. I hope that is not the case, but it has me spooked enough not to move on installing one, as much as I would like to. I do appreciate your review on the Igla and would put one, based on your review, but only if the dealer took responsibility for the install.
Many of us who can afford the high-end car aren't really concerned about the price of a system that provides peace of mind to protect the vehicle. I gladly paid the cost.
@RhetoricWolf well nit only high end cars stolen its great you in easy tax bracket to afford it igla ghost n other companies taking advantage of our situation could charge less.
That’s why I moved to the Middle East. They have stringent theft laws. Tired of the mess people have live with in the states with thieves. Who would have known feeling safer living in the countries with “terrorists”was better lol
NO, NO, INSTALL IT ON THE R8!!! My Infinity G37S Manual got stolen, being a stick doesn't do anything it is a myth and its foolish to rely on the car being a manual to not be stolen
Our government and police are trash, we know where the cars go to (PoM) and still can't do anything to stop it? Like, just check the containers when they come in, how hard can it be?
Finally a video properly explaining IGLA!! Awesome job!
Exactly

Speaking the truth my friend!
they tried to steal my trackhawk sunday morning, i have igla and they were unsuccesful, igla 1 thieves 0
Cant they just cut the wiring of the igla system?
@@86tvyall32wouldn’t that lock the engine?😭
I feel so much better, even making this video I felt a lot better :p
This is tremendous especially for people who live in high car theft cities like here in Jersey & NY

You can use the key fobs (small black box) that come with it. It will eliminate the need for the input of the pin.
How many times in your life have you needed to get away fast?

The sad part is how it is on the consumer to make the vehicle harder to steal.
its a joke everyone knows where they're taking the stolen car to be shipped in Montreal and the RCMP has done nothing?
tax payer dollars well spent , pay arm and leg for public service that ends up making you urself having to pay more to protect your own stuff
Does IGLA protect Toyota/Lexus from the CAN bus attacks where they access the CAN bus through the headlights etc.?
Yes it does
Can you have multiple pins for different drivers? Or is it one person kind of deal.
Single pin
Would love one but as a disabled pensioner I could never afford one
In an ideal world this should be included in the car.
Congrats on 100k!
Thanks brother :) it’s pretty awesome and glad to have you as a subscriber. I promise more great vids to come!

@josefernandez2722 that’s awesome. I find the seats pretty easy to clean. I’ve been very happy with it.
How can I get it in UK?

I’m hearing they are installing IGLA and compustar together. My question is, is it the same or better together
I haven’t heard of them installing both together personally.
💯💯💯💯. Put that thing in your R8
will this work for a GMC Sierra truck?
Need one for our new 23 GX 460
Give them a shout! I highly recommend it
I can't believe this isn't built into cars by default these days.
There is no incentive for them to do so right now that is why. We need to mandate them to do something about it.
Can I get IGLA here in California let me know
Wouldnt this void warranty?
Curious what the cost was roughly as im looking into this for our 2024 toyota grand highlander when it comes in a few weeks
I got quoted $899 installed for 2024 Civic Type R
@irwinsra4484 yeh I messaged them through their website and they never got back
Google " IGLA dealer" to find someone that installs in your area @@nicholaslamarre6276
Hey I am also looking to get one for my highlander 2024 xle. Just wondering it installing IGLA will void manufacturers warranty or not?
Did it lower your insurance bill afterwards?
Sadly, barely.
Im with belair direct it only lowers my premium by $50... in Toronto too... @carswithsonduren
Very cool product! Can you hold a button as a pin?
The user holds up the volume button and presses the Start button to start the car for example.
Let me double check that I think it’s just simply a button press, but I will double check for you!
Can igla stop hotwiring
Do you get a discount on your insurance.
They are a discount on insurance for specific vehicles, from what I understand from specific insurance providers
How does the service pin work
You press another combination of buttons to access it. Once done. It can be deactivated just like that or through another method.
How much did you get this install for
Costs now $1100 I believe.
Sold
What happened to Canada 🇨🇦 it used to be safe
Our government has been destroying the country over the last 8 years and the country is spiralling downward in every aspect.
So true
Very true. The United States is going that way too.
will it void your warranty for acura?
That's what i was looking for... i have tlx type s and im looking for an answer to this... did you find out if it voids the warranty?
My truck is in there right now lol
That is awesome :)
This video sounds more like an advertising for that shop..still not sure how IGLA works. I'm going to search for another video to learn more.
I think it's good that they don't show how it works. Mofo criminals shouldn't get tips on how it works.
Exactly why we kept those details out
They've been stealing cars with flat bed wreckers where I live.
Does this void the lexus warranty?
No, unless it’s the installation that messed up the electrical. Make sure to get it installed at an authorized installer.

Great that it works but high cost
True, but this is also also the most intuitive and cost-effective solution there is in the market today.
Still cost of production n technology not justify price
$899 to $1299 installed plus txs

Also a manual transmission isn't going to save your car. Not sure if that was a joke or not. My manual Z06 was stolen.

I have this alarm system on my car and I am not the first owner and they sold me this car without the PIN code now I have a car I can’t crank or move
Be-Careful....... as these will void Warranted.....Lexus dealers will Void all Warranties...if system is altered in any way
Can't believe your assessment is not correct given the amount of fine print in the contracts that works for Lexus only.
Our government and police are trash, we know where the cars go to (PoM) and still can't do anything to stop it? Like, just check the containers when they come in, how hard can it be?
Half the time women get in the car and it takes them 30 seconds before they are even ready to drive
The thevies that can steal a r8 or would even attempt, drive stick
