Umbrella academy has highs and lows for me but definitely enjoyed it, loved the others! Specially Ted, that show is amazing. But aw man don’t tease me, I need to catch up on TWD. I was diehard for so long but kind of feel off because of a little zombie burnout if you look behind me on my set it’s comic cover from the kingdom with Ezekiel and Shiva
Yeah it’s certainly not one of those you need to be locked into every word or detail. it’s just a fun action packed show with some crazy outlandish visuals.
I thought I was gonna catch crap in the comments for recommending it so highly because I wasn’t sure as many people enjoyed it as much as I did but agreed. Top notch show and you can watch it on Netflix and max now so hopefully more people can enjoy it
Don’t get me wrong I did really enjoy Warrior and all the titles on this list. And to be honest it was really tough to rank them cause even the lowest rank is still a great show
I have no idea why but I thought this show was gonna be dumb over the top silly but I watched like 20 minutes of the first episode and was all in from there. It’s a phenomenal show.
Class of 09 has a ton of actors I really like in it, Brian Tyree Henry is awesome with Kate Mara, Brian Smith and Jake McDorman. I am not sure how I never heard of this. Definitely getting added to the watchlist. Thank you 😁
Currently im on season 3 of Ted Lasso with my bf, we love it. We also binge watched The Bear. I finished Succession and the performance and plot were amazing. I loved the intro song and never skipped it :D. Guys, check out Severance, it's so good.
Trying to get people to watch Ted Lasso is very hard. “Oh I don’t like football,” or “I don’t like American comedies.” But once they have seen ONE episode they are HOOKED! Imho the best show for the past five years. Sadly there will get no more. Oh well, quit while you are ahead.
I know its such an amazing show, and it seems like it would be a weird niche topic or super stupid cause of the concept but its so good. It is about football but its also not about football lol Definitely my highest recommendation on this list. And I heard potential for a spinoff rather than a continuation, but I am sure that's a long shot, fingers crossed if it happens, I just hope they don't taint the legacy of this show at all.
Night Agent & Silo were not on my radar. I'll have to check them out. I feel like a bunch of people are sleeping on Warrior. Also, Blue Eyed Samurai (Netflix) is binge worthy! It's like a Quentin Tarantino movie if done in anime. Im not a big fan of anime but It reminded me of Kill Bill multiple times. I started watching it with intentions to just view 1 or 2 episodes, and ended up bingeing the whole thing (luckily it was a Sunday).
It took me a bit to watch the night agent cause I kept jumping into other shows and stuff cause it was the little lesser know cast. But it’s honestly great. And now I have to check out blue eyed samurai cause your the third person to recommend it. I do like anime and love Tarantino so you got me!
What i've watched so far...The Fall of the House of Usher was great... American Horror Story vibe Beef, The Bear, The Last of Us, Succession, luvd all... Warrior (low budget but actors were gr8) Twisted Metal (expected a more serious genre w/title but liked it) Reacher (meh), One Piece (too young... got thru 20 minutes of it) Barry (just didn't grab me will give it another go...Ozark was the same til I gave it a chance I think it was a Jason Bateman thing lol).. not been in the mood for hero worship so Gen V n Loki are sitting on the passport. You may have recommended ''Shameless'' in another vid idk... if not check it out...well done starring William Macy ... I found this series a testament to the toxicity of poverty and addiction frosted with narcissism and denial. What a portrait! Thanks for the recommendations... cheers!
The most stressful and depressing year of my life was when my basketball and tennis playing oldest daughter, in the 7th grade, took up soccer. Ted Lasso might be good, but at what cost?
Or was my response absolutely so literal it can’t be serious? 🤔 lol no, honestly I was out and about when I responded. Definitely read this way to literally, my fault
Thank you!! Cool to see a list like this as I’ve watched most so gives some validation that I’m watching the good stuff. Couple on here I haven’t seen that I’ll have to start on soon: The bear Barry Succession Warrior Just wrapping up Twisted Metal and I have to say it’s been a tough go getting through this. I’d put it last on this list and the other two I’ve started but have to finish are Beef and One Piece. Beef I enjoyed but my wife hated it so I’ll get back to it alone but One Piece is just odd and very tough to follow. Kind of like Twisted Metal but I’ll get back to it. Think I’m going to watch the Bear next
You’re welcome! I am glad I can provide that validation for you!! 😁😁 and I try to watch different types of shows so I can recommend a variety cause I know not everyone’s gonna love each pick but hopefully you love those others you picked!!
I'm already an ardent viewer of Loki and Ted Lasso, so I'm super happy they're on your list with the reasons you gave 👍👍. and I will take up on your recomms on One Piece, I keep hearing about the title from fellow ATLA Geeks who are fans of the One Piece manga and animation, so I was a little hesitant about getting into the Netflix live action version since the world of OP is even more massive than ATLA. but thank you for clarifying what the OP live action version is about spesh for us non-fans.
Haha welcome aboard! But honestly I was as skeptical as you probably are cause Anime adaptations have not had the most successful history. I have a theory that its similar to video game adaptations, now at this point in time, the people who grew up watching these shows and playing these games are the ones making the movies and shows so they understand them more and realize how to do them better. Maybe not perfect but way way better. Where in the past it was being done by people who might not had any exposure to it prior to working on that project so they read the wiki page and made a movie.
I promise it is my first shot at this whole TH-camr thing, its something I have always wanted to try and this is me giving it a go! Still learning with every video

I can't stand to watch a new series. I have to wait until it's done so I can watch what I want, when I want or it just feels like scheduled TV when you have to wait for them to drop the next season in a year
A few of these are finished or limited series that are done. Cause I know what you mean, sometimes with shows I wait a few weeks just to build up a backlog! 😂
Out of the ones on the list I would say The Night Agent definitely has some twists in it, Reacher has a few too but not as many, Silo slowly reveals stuff as you go through which leads to more like ohhhhh moments that shocking twists but Succession would probably be the most plot twisting show.
sorry but 3 episodes in on beef and I don't really get why people say this is funny while its ok as a show (Honestly wouldn't rate it better than ok), Im seriously consider quitting this as episode 3 I found extremely dull, I hardly ever give up on shows before getting to the end of a series but I don't know if I can watch anymore of beef.
I am like you, I definitely have a really hard time giving up on shows. The whole not knowing how it ends thing drives me nuts lol. But there have been some I just don’t click with that I have moved on from. I think beef is really satirically funny with some dark humor and if that’s really not clicking I wouldn’t fault you for moving on. Not that it’s not a good show for someone else, but there are so many good shows available
I mean this is one of Peacocks most watched series ever so I think a few people enjoyed it. But to each their own hopefully, one of the other options works better for you.
My personal opinions... First, another good breakdown of shows. The Binge List is certainly better than that other channel...lol Like how you get straight to the point. Twisted Metal - I kind of want to see this, because I like Anthony Mackie, but it's on Peacock. Maybe I'll get to watch it in a few years when Peacock gets enough decent content to make worth a 1 month sub. Right now, I think I could probably watch everything on there that interests me in less than a week of casual viewing, so not going to give them a sub just yet. Beef - The idea of this show seems dumb to me. It probably is good for comedy value, but comedy isn't really my cup of tea. Gen V - Not bad. I almost didn't watch it, because of The Boyz. The first season of the Boyz was actually good, but that series quickly became stupid. The second season started out too slow and I gave up. I kind of figured Gen V would just be the same disappointment, but it wasn't bad. The Night Agent - is on my list. It looks good, but I haven't been too excited to watch it. It kind of looks like a rip off of Prime's Jack Ryan series. Can't remember the name of the show, but Netflix did a similar series recently that turned out to be a poorly done Jack Ryan rip off. The sad thing, Netflix doesn't really put out good original content anymore. They get your hopes up with trailers, then disappoint when it turns out to be hot garbage with bad acting and bad flow. Even when they have an all star cast, it's like they reading from a script or just are not into it. Kind of a case in point, Charlei Hunnam and Djimon Hounsou are both strong actors that I like, but in a recent Netflix series, they both gave poor performances and Hummam's performance was so bad it was hard to watch. The Fall of the House of Usher - haha, I saw the trailer and was like nope. Silo - is definitely on my list. I just recently swapped Disney+ out for Apple+ and currently watching The Foundation. As much as I hate the Apple company, I must say, they put together some quality acting. So far, I've watched Tetris and on the second season of The Foundation. Silo will probably be the next thing I watch there, but I really want to watch See too. Warrior - One my all time favorites. Unfortunately it got cancelled and left wide open. Something for people to keep in mind, if you don't like watching series that get cancelled without a resolution to the story, it might piss you off, because the final show leaves you excited for the next season to see where it goes from there. Of course, if you haven't seen it yet and go into knowing that it just leaves you hanging with no follow up, it is a good watch. Loki - is okay, but it's kind of repetitive and dumb at times. It at least has good acting, but the flow is a bit off to me. I almost feel like it would have a been a better show, without the Loki character, if that makes sense. It is worth watching and I think most people will like it. It just didn't work for me. The Bear - Not something I would watch. It might be good, but just doesn't look like my cup of tea. Of course I kind feel the same way about Hulu that I do about Netflix. Their shows just don't deliver. I've tried watching some Hulu series, but I have yet to actually finish one as they just don't do a good job at keeping the viewer engaged. I get easily bored with Hulu series and never go back to finish them. I get Hulu+ Live TV during college football season and I'm to catch anything that interests me on Hulu+ and Disney+ during that time period. Reacher - Another one of my favorites, which is actually surprising. I didn't think I would like it, but the acting is fantastic along with the intrigue and how the story is presented. Then again, Amazon Prime series just seem to be on another level compared to Netflix and Hulu. One Piece - I've never herd of it. I might actually give it a try as it does look decent. Hopefully, it's not another foreign show that's poorly dubbed in English which seems to be the Netflix model now. Barry - Haven't seen it yet and it wasn't even on my radar. Succession - I watched the first episode and never went back to it. It just didn't draw me in. I might give it another go eventually. I have to be in the right mood for shows like this. The Last of Us - I think it is brilliant. You never know with post apocalyptic shows and based on the synopsis, I thought it would be kind of stupid, but The Last of US was really well done. I might be biased, because Pedro Pascal is one my favorite modern actors and he didn't disappoint. He really nails the character. I had never heard of Bella Ramsey, but she nailed her character too. The overall performance of everyone in this show is surprisingly good. Graham Greene is another one my favorite actors and even though he has a small role, I loved the scenes with him. Ted Lasso - Wasn't even on my radar as it's a bit out of my niche, but I think I'll check this one out, when I'm in the mood for something lighter. Apple+ seems to do a good job with production and that can make a huge difference. Tetris really isn't in my niche either, but I watched it just because of the history of Tetris and I'm glad I did. It was really well done.
First I want to say thanks for taking the time to go through watch the video, comment and to be so diligent!! I 100% appreciate it 😁😁 And I know not all my recommendations are going to align perfectly with everyone’s tastes and that’s ok, we can like different stuff and still be friends! I enjoy a ton of different genres and try to new stuff when people recommend it. But definitely glad there are some that fit and some you may not have seen! I bet the Hunnam performance your talking about is Rebel Moon lol yeah not the finest work I would 100% check out SEE after you watch Silo, it’s a really good show. One piece is all English speaking and I was really happy about that cause I know exactly what you mean. It’s a fun show, has anime spirit if you are into that. I hope they do not disappoint. Thanks again, look forward to seeing your comments in the future videos!!
Netflix is gone foreign. I am English & speak the most widely spoken language in the world. Scrap other languages but Netflix seems to think English is not that know of a language for god sake. Netflix has lost the plot. Everyone let’s cancel our subscriptions at once to Netflix.
I feel like every show or movies that Netflix brings to the platform has outstanding dubbing done so it has not hindered me as an exclusive English speaker. But to each their own
Dang sorry you didn't like this one, I thought it was pretty good, some weird moments but I like this world of The Boys so that might play into it too.
I actually liked that a lot! I watched it with my wife after my what’s new in January video. It was exciting, cool mystery, great payoffs and definitely lived up to what I thought it was gonna be.
Agreed, but only if you stay up to date with TV and these are the some of the best shows so you would think they are somewhat well known. ! 🤷🏼♂️All totally recommendable though. But honestly I’m always surprised when I feel like it’s obvious and talk to someone who’s never even heard of it
Maybe to some but not all. Also, it was a good reminder (for me personally) to watch certain shows on his list. Some of the shows are on my watch list, but I forgot about them.
Can’t get on board with Mackey good actor but unlikelable in real life-that’s a big reason he failed as Captain America won’t be watching him in anything.
I never heard that about him, I had always heard he was pretty down to earth and approachable with his fans etc, but interesting will have to check that out
I feel like a new streaming platform is popping up every day, it can get to be a lot. What service do you have and I am happy to make some additional recommendations for you!
I can understand that, It definitely had its moments lol but I didn’t feel that was super over bearing and I still enjoyed it and the world of the boys. But that’s me. And what about stuff like Reacher, twisted metal, succession or one of those options for you?
@@ddyjjooee yea Gen V was good like a 6.5/10...it handled college life as a superhero really well....good video script is the reason I'm subscribing to the channel

Ted Lasso is great and only gets better each season. Much more depth than your standard comedy.
Its so good, in the top tier of shows for me. It just made me feel good watching it.
Lessons in Chemistry has been a masterpiece to me. The acting is really good and I tought it was really well written and it's also a feel good vibe.

Beef looks interesting Yun is so good!
He is really good in this, its funny, dark and the leads definitely bring it in this one.
which tv series has lot of plot twist?
Out of the ones on the list I would say The Night Agent definitely has some twists in it, Reacher has a few too but not as many, Silo slowly reveals stuff as you go through which leads to more like ohhhhh moments that shocking twists but Succession would probably be the most plot twisting show.
Thank you !
You are welcome! :)
sorry but 3 episodes in on beef and I don't really get why people say this is funny while its ok as a show (Honestly wouldn't rate it better than ok), Im seriously consider quitting this as episode 3 I found extremely dull, I hardly ever give up on shows before getting to the end of a series but I don't know if I can watch anymore of beef.
Severence
Beef
Loki
The last of us
Mare of Easttown
Premier league, not Premiiiiier league.
😂
looks real 'colorful'
what looks colorful? 🤔
Immediately lost all respect when you say twisted
Metal was watchable.
Couldn’t make it past 5 minutes.
I 100% appreciate it 😁😁
And I know not all my recommendations are going to align perfectly with everyone’s tastes and that’s ok, we can like different stuff and still be friends! I enjoy a ton of different genres and try to new stuff when people recommend it. But definitely glad there are some that fit and some you may not have seen!
I bet the Hunnam performance your talking about is Rebel Moon lol yeah not the finest work
I would 100% check out SEE after you watch Silo, it’s a really good show.
One piece is all English speaking and I was really happy about that cause I know exactly what you mean. It’s a fun show, has anime spirit if you are into that.
I hope they do not disappoint.
Thanks again, look forward to seeing your comments in the future videos!!
Thank you very much for NOT including the dreadful, vapid Bridgerton and Emily in Paris on your list.
Haha you’re welcome, I honestly have no seen a single episode of either. Really don’t feel like they are my type of shows 😂😂
Netflix is gone foreign.
But to each their own
@@TheBingeList99 there is no need to put foreign movies on there. It’s since squid game they lost the plot. Netflix need to lose their business
The Night Agent was one of the kids on that Super 8 film
Yeah lol I did see that when I looked it up, he was the camera kid!
Gen V seriously? I couldn’t get past the first few minutes of the first episode terrible choice here.
Dang sorry you didn't like this one, I thought it was pretty good, some weird moments but I like this world of The Boys so that might play into it too.
Gen v gets better. Its good
I thought so too
Never ever under estimate the power of 3 ply toilet paper.
Haha absolutely, I don’t know why but that part literally cracks me up every time!
Fool Me Once, Netflix. Well kept secret. Well worth your binge time.
I actually liked that a lot! I watched it with my wife after my what’s new in January video. It was exciting, cool mystery, great payoffs and definitely lived up to what I thought it was gonna be.
list is mostly obvious
Agreed, but only if you stay up to date with TV and these are the some of the best shows so you would think they are somewhat well known. ! 🤷🏼♂️All totally recommendable though. But honestly I’m always surprised when I feel like it’s obvious and talk to someone who’s never even heard of it
Maybe to some but not all. Also, it was a good reminder (for me personally) to watch certain shows on his list. Some of the shows are on my watch list, but I forgot about them.
IF Ted Lasso is your favorite, we can`t talk about TV shows
It’s definitely up there at the top of the list for sure
I hated Beef TBH not funny at all.
Dang, sorry that one wasn't for you. Hopefully one of the other options worked better for you.
Can’t get on board with Mackey good actor but unlikelable in real life-that’s a big reason he failed as Captain America won’t be watching him in anything.
I never heard that about him, I had always heard he was pretty down to earth and approachable with his fans etc, but interesting will have to check that out
Twisted metal is cringy in a good way if that makes sense
I think so, like cringy but fun and hard to look away from.
Gen V sux
Dang sorry you didn’t like that one, hopefully the others were a better fit for you!
Netflix, too much SJW/woke bulls$$t.
I put picks from a couple different streaming services so hopefully one of those work better!
Maybe don’t let politics dictate everything in your life.
I hate that so many of these are on platforms I don't pay for. 😞
I feel like a new streaming platform is popping up every day, it can get to be a lot. What service do you have and I am happy to make some additional recommendations for you!
I think I'm just sad I don't get to watch Heavy Metal! LOL that looks right up my alley.
@rustyshackleford2222 dang I just looked it up too that’s like the one provider that doesn’t even have a free trial
Maybe try recommending shows that 99% of the worlds population hasn't already seen.
This is a list of the best shows from 2023?? Sure if you watch a lot of shows but you’d be surprised.
now do some non woke crap please. Gen V? really? kill me
I can understand that, It definitely had its moments lol but I didn’t feel that was super over bearing and I still enjoyed it and the world of the boys. But that’s me. And what about stuff like Reacher, twisted metal, succession or one of those options for you?
Gen V is Great. Little snowflakes will cry and complain about anything nowadays!
@@ddyjjooee yea Gen V was good like a 6.5/10...it handled college life as a superhero really well....good video script is the reason I'm subscribing to the channel
Thanks I appreciate that! 😁 I am trying and definitely trying to continue to improve.
Gen V was great 😊
