Great recommendations ❤❤ What are your thoughts about The Americans tv show? Should I watch it?

I've seen all of these except Gangs of London. Guess I know what I'm doing now...

I've seen half of these, so I like your taste. I watched Punisher highlights to cheer me up, and Banshee was a complete and pleasant accident. I said this guy is going to be big, and it took me two seasons of The Boys to recognize him. Bikers think a different way, and the show captures the essence of it. Peggy Bunny is great. Her husband wrote and produced it. Shakespearian ending. I've watched all of Ture Blood. I didn't know there were 81 episodes.

I read Anne Rice’s Witch books and I’m enjoying Mayfair Witches.

The Deuce was really good on HBO back in the day. It's probably on Max now and it was about the porn industry as it evolved over three decades so yeah its GRAPHIC AF but the story and acting are pretty good.

Oz is a classic ... they would never allow it to be made in todays world...people are way to sensitive!!!

Happy! was amazing

Spartacus was Game of Thrones on a much lower budget….solid. Gritty, drama, sexy and twists upon twists.

Oz it’s one of my favorite shows and it’s fun to see that most of the main prisoners play cops in other shows, like Doakes from Dexter, the vulture from Brooklyn nine-nine, Stabler from Law & Order, etc.

We barely care about American actors; contrary to popular opinion.

Sons of Anarchy hands down best option up here. But others stand out as well like Kingdom.

Obviously the narrator is American.

Because most people in America don't care about actors otherwise located.

Another series that could have easily made this list had you been aware of it is: Mr Inbetween. Please check it out. Its easily as good as anything recommened here and its compelling viewing too. It's on FX. And, is a huber violent crime series set in Australia. The main character is called Ray, an ex con, divorced single father who earns a little extra cash by working for a loan shark petty criminal friend of his called Freddy, who has aspirations of taking his pocket sized mini crime syndicate into the big leagues. Ray, also, served a stint in the army, that's where he acquired his skills. The character is not a psycho. He's in fact a pleasant bloke, ordinary looking bald middle age man you could see walking down your average suburban road who is just gifted when it comes to the act of inflicting pain and excessive violence as a remedy in a situation that's gone out of control. In short, Ray, is a hard basterd.

Hannibal was so good. Unfortunately it only lasted a few seasons. I like to think his MO is what created Buffalo Bill. He pushes people to their max just to see how far his control can go. So sadistic

Sons Of Anarchy was a great show, but it could never go too hardcore because it was on basic cable. Loved the story! It spinoff Mayans was... meh.

Currently re-watching Spartacus…one of my favourites!

I absolutely LOVED "That Dirty Black Bag". Every year I keep hoping they will announce a Season 2.

Kingdom would’ve been huge if it had been on HBO.

Constantine, Legion or Preacher?? Constantine got shafted and cut short but all these titles are real good solid picks. Might even add in the Gifted, also ended abruptly but was good for an attempt to make an X-Men spin off tv series.

The outsider , true detective, and outcast …outcast was really good had to do with demons and American gods was crazy and outlander was pretty good as well…preacher is also nuts as well

I remember growing up having favorite TV shows like Happy Days, Three's Company, Starsky and Hutch etc. I remember when actors got shot on Network TV they would put their hands on their chest and you would see no blood on their shirt. Turning into an adult, I loved the more mature graphic shows. I must say Dexter, Banshee and Spartacus are the best series I have seen all my life. These are shows that after the 45 minute mark I start to get sad the show is coming to an end while I am wanting more. Some of today's shows I feel are not as graphic as these series.

Upvote for Oz. Keller is still the most evil character I've ever seen.

Kingdom was awesome, one of the actors who stood out to me was Paul Walter Hauser. First time seeing him in anything, then saw him in Black Bird where he excelled and as Richard Jewell, the security guard who found the bomb at the Atlanta Olympics. Both great jobs as an actor. It was funny to see Peter Mensah in Gladiator II as a Gladiator who I originally saw in Spartacus where he trained Gladiators. I couldn't get into The Pacific as much as Band of Brothers because they don't really get you to know the main characters as much.

Reacher is not a drifter, he's an hobo. Details matter. 😊😊😊 (If i got it backward than it becomes funner).

Animal Kingdom is an AMAZING show. It has everything, action, drama, comedy, tension, and an incredible cast. It was one of those rare times when a show was fantastic from the pilot episode to the series finale.

Can't wait for severance 😀

I've read the Silo trilogy books. They are really good. Didn't know there was a show out, definitely checking out after this. Thanks again, it's been hard finding movies now a days, and your videos help a lot.

Gotta go watch Banshee and Punisher again. Wish That Dirty Black Bag would have continued at least another season.

As far as older hbo shows goes deadwood is another fantastic choice

Tehran is also really good.

Don't forget Warriors on HBO/MAX and Netflix amazing Bruce Lee type story and historically driven.
