I’m glad you found a helper that knows his stuff! Y’all have done a lot of work at that property! Great video, always beautiful outcomes!❤❤❤

A "lifetime warranty against fire & theft"... this man really stands behind his work!👍
I concur
TY
ok, now somebody HAS to steal that hunk of concrete. 😁
I was going to comment the same thing. Those damn concrete thieves.
This is how we mounted our Generac. They make a plastic pad for them, but they’re very expensive. I’d much rather have concrete. I learned how to do it by watching other pours you did similar to this. Couldn’t have done it without you!
Yes, concrete foundations are the way to go.

Great job James and OG Odell Bros 💪👏👍

That pad is guaranteed, FOR LIFE, against fire & theft. Now THAT'S a true professional.
Bingo
A life time Guarantee against fire and Theft.......Love it!
I knew you would
I do love your videos and have to say james turned out to be a keeper, superb work again
Glad you like them!
Thats a lucky homeowner. I know I'd sleep better knowing my pad has a lifetime warranty against fire and theft. I can't tell you how many nights of sleep I've lost over it.
No worries, when I do the job. Rest well.
Love your Fire and Theft lifetime warranty ;)
Yes it's rare to get that on kind of warranty on concrete but I'm that confident about my workmanship.
Yo Dave salute gtsy
Peace
Poured one for my Generac about 16 years ago. Still looks good with no cracks.
nice job
10/10 for Odell Complete Concrete ❤❤❤

I suggest having gas and electric marked by the utility companies before starting the job.
It was pretty obvious
@@OdellCompleteConcreteif you hit something they will go after you for it. If they mark it and miss one that you hit it’s on them.
That was very helpful thank you,
Glad it was helpful!
Those Generac units are pretty slick. They fire themselves up once a week to do a test and in the process chase away any mice who are looking for free rent.
Sweet
Love the lifetime guarantee on the concrete workmanship. ✅

Nice work! No expansion material against wall and new slab?
No need
complete master class! haha
Wow, thanks!
They don't make you sleeve that gas line riser through the concrete, or at the very least wrap it in 20-mil tape? We wouldn't get away with that here in So-Cal. I always do it whether it's getting inspected or not. Just curious.
This gas line is wrapped in epoxy, much better than tape.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I use those exact same risers, so I'm familiar with them. Here in San Diego, SDG&E, and all the jurisdictions do not want that riser encased in concrete. If it is getting inspected down here. SDG&E requires it to be sleeved in PVC or ABS. They won't even sign off on 20-mil tape. They want movement for their pipe. The epoxy coating, while resistant to corrosion, doesn't provide the clearance that is required, by the AHJ. If you look at the main coming by the meter in in the video, you'll see the sleeve. That's what they want down here if it is in concrete. So I'm assuming it was not required where you are at, or was not inspected. Thanks for the reply.
His name is James, of course he is a bad ass!

Get it on

Sweet 👍
Thanks for the visit
Hey Dave, which episode of ODELLCC did you mention a certain thing you did not agree with but would not stop something like that. I can't remember what you said exactly.
I live in Arizona, is that a clue?
You should of put some foam wrap around the gas line, or piece of 11/2 ABS pipe
15 lbs 10-15 mins.
Supposedly hold for 24 hrs.
There is no need in wrapping on a small pad. The pad will move before the pipe breaks.
The BS was getting deep. Hope you’re enjoying life out there. Won’t be long til you get a little relief from the heat.
See ya on the next one.
65 this morning.
High is 90
@@OdellCompleteConcrete about the same here in southern NM
beauty
👍👍
do you have any tips for keeping woodpeckes off of houses?
Pellet guns
On a cable home show I saw someone had installed some type of fake moving creature that would spring down if the woodpecker triggered it by movement. Woodpeckers are pretty nervous by movement. Have you tried putting up any garden decorations that turn of blow in the wind, like balloons and such?
no but that should work
TY
@@AStanton1966 I've tried all the stuff except that moving spider -- it has some bad reviews and the place they peck at is twenty feet high which is hard to attach things to. I hate those birds. thanks for your response.
@@Guywithcrazyideas I've had issues with them too. I even put out suet cakes and they still ding stuff other than the cakes.
Fire and theft protection, that’s a good one.
It's a great warranty, I offer
Sorry to say this what does fire and theft mean im from Australia
What does Australia have to do with it?
It's a joke 😂
dude give me 5 of those jobs a week
Bingo
Ballpark how much to install the whole natural gas Generac generator system turnkey? $15-20K ?? Edit: I just noticed... this resident must have won the lottery or inheritance with all the home improvements.
