- #About the mod: Fake Factory Remaster is a custom modification that changes the game's artstyle, making it look as close as possible to vannila version.
#Project Goal: Remove unnecessary props, entitys, brushes, decals that makes the game look terrible and unplayable.
#New Features: Added new structures that makes more sense to City 17, Ravenholm, Highway 17 and Nova Prospekt enviorments. Lost Coast is now playable and the soundtrack is back on track.
#Optimization: Removed a bunch of unnecessary files from the game's directory. Removed some FF skins, textures, props and weapons, now we can add our own.
#About the Gameplay: The current gameplay seen in the trailer is using the Remade Assets from Gamebana community + MMOD.

Citadel needs some fog around it, and the top should be in the clouds, right now it looks weird, doesn’t look like it’s a massive structure
Needs a version without HLA characters. Or just a modified version of the Character Pimper from the original FF so we can choose.
Or just no custom skins to characters so that we can pick ourselves

I’m pretty sure it will come in 3 packages that are installed separately, so you can get it without the skins if you want.
I don't think a lot people understand that those skins as they were before in CM2013 are totally optional.

I dont mind the HL:A models, i like them as they (valve) retconned the hl2 models, so this is more correct for continuity

Thank you for putting this together! FF's mod was really cool in its scope but I and many disagreed with the artstyle and dear god what he did to alyx and mossman. I look forward to playing this when its released :D *also will this be somewhat compatible with MMOD ? or similar with its gunplay ?

Would like the list of the mods and models used for mmod. Maybe with some hlA like the suit and life chargers but not the enemy and character models.
Are the updated weapon and character/ enemy models included or are separate mods?
will the logical layout of the citadel be changed? for example, on the level with the nexus it is closer than at the beginning of the game, but not so close, it’s also right behind the nexus building, but in the end we go into the underground passage on the left and the citadel is to the left of this location

Suddely pupped in my recommendation, hope to get the chance to play to one day.
But, if it's 28 GB that's gonna take a lot of time, if I even get lucky to download it. I guess my best option is the free download manager or a torrent if one exist.
If you do work on this, keep everything as an option. Optional is better than total removal. No matter how controversial something is.

This looks pretty dang good and I really like the change in atmosphere, but I think the HL:A character look kind of out of place. Also pretty sure Ordinals and Warhammers aren't supposed be there at the time of Half-Life 2. Other than that this looks way better than the original mod, very well done!
