So good to see you back J-Dawg!!!!👍 I so remember camping up at the Adirondacks and this bearded dude would going around in his chevy pickup selling fire wood! Such a memory! So agree about etiquette!!! Ya know, the going out , but there's always coming back! Lol

Thank you! The wood is such a lost art, these overpriced bags that aren't even seasoned sold to protect us by "not moving wood" however are shipped from far away... ugh. I'd rather support a small woodlot nearby or someone selling out of a truck than the park silliness. That said, if that's my only complaint about a place we're still doing well! Etiquette for sure. Camping is one of those things that should be personal-space sacred.

Thank you! The Adirondacks; camping there is on my bucket list for sure. Given the distance I might have to rent a little trailer or something for that trip lol.

Love this video. Canada has done a great job with their park system. Glad to see someone out enjoying it. I’m from Florida US. I would love to see your beautiful country someday

Thank you for watching, love that you dug the video! Totally agree our Provincial Parks have done a great job in land protection and enjoyment. There's six classifications up here from recreational to wilderness, and the one I was just in is classified 'natural environment' which has been getting a little more 'recreational' with the campers lately 🤪 That said, they've been adding a lot of walk-in sites where you park and hike your gear into place, so it gets a touch more woodsy... 95% of the campground is closed now for the winter so I couldn't get into those spots for camping. Hope you do get the chance to come up here one day!

Hey J! It's good to know Canada, has wonderful yet crappy public campsites too🌲 and dude, for the love of Jebus put some ice (and vodka )in that bloody Mary thing you made.😅.... If and when we ever cross paths, we'll camp and swap stories of OUR great dogs that have passed... R.I.P. Dixie. ❤ Keep on camping man.

No worries Ryan, the can has the vodka in it!😂😂 It's supposed to have all the fixin's too but we need to up the spices and sauces. Oh the public campground, I hear you. Always love watchin' your wild camps, have my eye on a few spots on Crown Land for next year that shouldn't contain anyone - or maybe something deep into Algonquin, but even then there's always some moron with a radio. I love the idea of sharing stories about great dogs, you bring some squeeze cheese and I'll bring some Moosehead!

Watching this video, I learned of your loss and I then watched your last video about Dixie. I'm a 60 yr old man who cried like a baby hearing the story. I've been there friend. It hurts like hell. God bless you and your family. And take comfort knowing you gave Dixie the best life a dog could have.

Thank you for watching, hope you enjoyed the camping! Your kind words mean a lot too, it's been a month now and I still expect to see her around every corner. She had an amazing life, and so glad her suffering was minimal, I know time lessens the pain, and my heart goes out to you for any of your furry friends you've had with you and left. It's really quite cruel how little time they have with us, but I wouldn't trade it for a moment. ❤️

Thanks so much! She was (and is) loved so much, she was truly one of a kind! Keeping on keeping on, and trying to get back into the swing of things for sure!

Hey Jay, love your passion for camping. You always put a lot of time and preparation into each trip. The scenery is very nice but the problem with public parks is too much of the public shows up😅 though I'm so glad we have them. Nice video Jay!!

Thanks Joe! I do love camping, always mean to go for more than just the day lol. I might venture further into Algonquin next summer, but everyone has the camping bug now so it's tough to really get out there without someone being around. Lots of Crown Land nearby too so way less people out there (but also why I also built a campsite in our forest 🤪). Totally agree that our public forests are important, such wonderful spots (even if they get a touch loud).

Thanks man! I feel you on that unpacking rush, it's like getting back to normal (and if I get lazy and don't it really makes sure I won't relax until I do). I totally know that last cold drink feeling, the BEST!!

Great to see you back Jay,not good for fall camping here in Cape breton.i think I saw the sun twice in two weeks, nothing but rain and a storm coming on the weekend

From what I've heard, Cape Breton's weather is no joke! My wife says that's the kind of rain I'd love lol. I like it on the tin roof at night, but I'd sure love to see a touch more sun than you're getting. Is there at least a glimmer of a break even in the 14 day forecast?

Wonderful J, the sunset at the lake was gorgeous, and good ole Keith's from Halifax, been awhile, enjoyed the video and glad to see you out, I am glad I didn't get caught up in that fight hype, heard from many it was disappointment. Thanks for the tour of the park.

Hiya! It's a beautiful spot - I've laid on that dock and watched the milky way for hours in the past, would love to timelapse up there but would need to head out on a new moon for that. I did hear a pretty interesting POV on the fight; that even though the chucklehead went toe to toe with Tyson and landed more punches so won technically, he actually didn't do a thing to Iron Mike. No injuries or damage, certainly not the knockout he thought he'd get. So a 31 year age gap with Tyson clearly old and tired (although in great shape), his reputation as tough stands and he's up 20 milly now. Mind you, it was still sad to watch 🤣🤣

Glad to see your doing ok my friend. Nice video beautiful place to camp. The Clamato is the bomb and my favorite. Got hooked on it last year at fish camp. Love it. Found it down here at Walmart. Sandwich look awesome as well.

Hi Chris, thanks for watching! That campground is one of my favourites, although it's busier every-time I go - too many people finding out about it lol. 😂 The Clamato is a dangerous treat - one day Ms. Lady and I were lounging in the back woods and she had at least four Caesars, spent the rest of the afternoon poking her hand watching it go white blanching (don't look at the sodium content if you ever want to enjoy it again 🤪) Cheers!
