Come with me as I tumble gorgeous GREEN rocks for my daughter's aquarium! In this video, I show you how to tumble and polish rocks! I tried to polish these rocks straight from the beach, but my attempt failed. While my goal isn't perfect rocks, as I prefer them with some character, I decided the polish-only look was a big fail as it wasn't the look my daughter or I wanted. So, I started all over in the following tumbling and polishing stages:
Stage 1 - 60/90 grit - 7 days
Stage 2 - 120/220 grit - 7 days
Stage 3 - aluminum oxide 500 pre-polish - 7 days
Stage 4 - aluminum oxide 1,000 polish - 10 days
I also reveal before and after rock tumbling results of these beautiful green tumbled and polished rocks! So FUN!
I hope you enjoyed following along and, as always, I welcome any and all feedback on my rock tumbling and rockhounding videos! TUMBLE ON!! 😁👍🪨⛏️

As a lover of green rocks, your daughter is going to love them, even the dull polished ones look great ❤ I just checked on my tumblers in the garage and they were frozen solid 😂 oops, time to move them indoors 🤦♂️ great video!
Yes, thank you!! Loooove green rocks, too!! OMG, that's crazy your tumblers are frozen. Were the machines still running and barrels rolling? Stay warm!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
Hi nice to meet you where you from? Ism from Sri Lanka.
Nice to meet you! I'm from the United States.
Hello why you polished this stones what is end of this process?
I polished them because I think rocks are prettier when they have that wet look. The end pocess is when they are polished, which is stage 4 of the rock tumbling process. Does that help?
How many hours does the engine run continuously? Do you provide breaks? Thanks
Hello there! All rock tumblers are made to run continuously. Most feel hot to the touch, like my Lortone 33Bs, but that's normal. The only time they stop is when a tumbling stage is done, which is usually a minimum of 7 days. Let me know if you have more questions! Happy to help! TUMBLE ON! 😃👍🏻🪨💦
@@CacklingChick thanks ever so much.
