    Japanese gaming studios know how to make good games, but not how to make complete games. Monster Hunter, Final fantasy, Tekken... they still take multiplayer/competition as a bad thing. that could bring so much more life to the game. there is so much untapped potential

    thank god Japanese Sony created their PlayStation consoles & portable handhelds (PSP PS VITA) having thousands of truly amazing Japanese/Asian games of different types of ip's. if it wasn't for Sony coming out with their fun unique, creative, innovative, immersive, & out of this world true meaning of FUN consoles, portable handhelds and controllers then gaming would have been very plan & boring today. also yes Japanese games & their consoles/handhelds really are the greatest because american games are mostly 98% straight up pure boring as hell to play anyway

    I know it's popular to dump on the US online, but how many USSR occupied countries went on to have a thriving economy to this day?
    Just want to give credit to the US for helping rebuild Japan after a devastating war, then ceding control after helping it back on its feet.
    I feel it's a huge reason the 2 countries are such strong allies & why Japanese culture has been so successful in penetrating a typically domestic-focused market in the US.
    Few countries can have spread their cultural influence in the US, but Japan has (and not to a small degree either).
    This is something I think goes back to post-war relations & how the US conducted itself, despite formerly being the bitter enemy.
    / This ends today's Ted Talk 😅

      @Oskar.G  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the clarification! I was aware that USA did help Japan during that time period, but I was not sure to the extent of it. Also history ain't my forte 😅

    Alright video despite errors saying Atari was Japanese when it's American, and that Konami developed Mega Man when it was Capcom. Also would've liked some more discussion of the PC side of things which remained American dominated even after the console market crash, with revolutionary companies like ID Software, Origin Systems, Looking Glass Studios, Valve, Interplay, Bethesda, Blizzard, and more.

    Wokeness is what kills Western video games. Everything should be diverse, you need a gay character, characters need to teach liberal values, etc. it’s becoming so cringe year by year.

    Atari was an American console, but why should it sound like Japanese? Were they not self-confident of using English word? PlayStation is a Japanese console but it sounds English.
    Many gamers still think that PlayStation is an American console though because it sound English (PLAY and STATION). Lol.

  • @VR4nic

    Atari is a Japanese company? WRONG Lol! Obviously this guy didn’t do much research. Ataris is an American company. Yes, the word Atari, is from the Japanese language, but the company is American through and through. I’m done watching this video. There are way to many things you said that are just flat out factually wrong! If it’s not even accurate what’s the point?
