So, Windwaker crafted basically all my current day interests. Watching my older brother play it when I was kid, every single thing about it sparked my imagination like nothing before or since. When I found your Molgera Remix, it was as epic as I imagined the fight in my head as a kid. I adored it.
When TOTK came out and I saw Colgera, how it was a masterpiece love note to the Windwaker from the battle, the wind, the boss, the ally, and the theme... when I heard the Dragon Roost, I legitimately cried. Full blown tears. Nothing had ever done that to me before.
And then, a few days ago I saw this. And now, remembering everything from Windwaker, every detail you added in from your own Molgera remix to the sound effects, this has genuinely made me cry again. Nothing comes close to this save the actual fight itself as a love letter to Windwaker and all of its fans.
You fucking nailed it.

Fun fact: The game actually expects you to do the dive smash. If you make your way through the icicle barrage to just above each section, once they are fully exposed, Tulin will PROMPT you. Hearing him scream "NOW!!!" (Or "GO!!!") gave me chills.
That would’ve made my experience with it a lot cooler. I fell too low early on, saw the exposed underbelly, and thought I had to shoot arrows. It was over too quick 😔
Maybe if I do a replay I’ll do that method for the experience

Chills throughout, especially as the Molgera theme surfaced. (The Wind Waker vibes definitely built my anticipation for where the track goes later!)
I love the weaving of motifs and storytelling that you put into your compositions, and that’s really what I long to find in remixes. Not just grandiose orchestral performances of familiar material, but allowing the familiar leitmotifs to interact, grow complexity, and tell a story the way they would in a film score.

I have been a fan since the TIme's End mixes you've done (and those brought tears to my eyes just listening to them), so to see a new mix after so long, and orchestrating music from the recent Zelda game Tears of the Kingdom? Man, I AM BUZZIN IN MY SEAT!~ I may just pickup and replay the game again after this (and purposefully play this with the game muted while fighting Colgera). Keep on being absolutely epic!

@@TheophanyRemix Y'know what? Story time! Because yes this silly name actually has a story behind it. Back in High School comp sci, one of our first projects was to make a custom web browser in Visual Basic (apparently Visual Basic has built in libraries for this and makes it absurdly easy). To demonstrate what he was looking for, our teacher showed off a really simple browser with a custom background based off of Super Mario Brothers level 1-4, and called it The Web Bowser. High school me thought it was the funniest thing ever, so when I made my first online account on good ole gamefaqs, I used that name and it's stuck ever since.
Absolutely incredible. I love how Theophany has really highlighted the leitmotifs from related themes, like Molgera’s theme in the beginning and Rito Village/Dragon Roost Island theme towards the end, and of course the TOTK main theme.
The “Time’s End” albums were a huge inspiration for me when I first started digging deep into a music career. This took me back to that place. Thank you.

Recently just listened to Times End II again after having not listened to it for a long time, and the music for the first few tracks almost moved me to tears. They hit me with that child like wonder of playing the game all over again, and being content.
No doubt one of the best tracks in TotK will be remixed masterfully by you.

I would say what made this fight so epic was how the music combined with and drove home the knowledge that all you and the kid had was each other for this. You were the force, and the kid was the application, helping you move fast when you really needed to. You two were alone against this thing in the middle of a raging storm, cut off from the rest of the world. Even if you had the other avatars at this point, they couldn't manifest in any way to help. It was just you and a fledgling barely coming into his own.
I didn't think there could be so many "wow" moments in just the first time listening. It's simplay amazing how far Theophany has come since back in the beginning. Laura Intravia still going strong!
Having listened three times now, I keep finding a goofy grin on my face as I uncover more and more details, whether it be echoes of your Molgera work or just phenomenal mixing. Feels like your playfulness is on full display here!

Anyone else think it a little odd that colgera is the rito boss, when molgera was the korok boss? Mixing molgera with dragon roost made for an amazing song though so i'm happy with it.
This is perfect. Absolutely perfect. I couldn’t love it more. The original was already gorgeous, and this makes it even better. It captures everything that was magical in the boss battle while also throwing in elements from the past. It feels like flying. I’ve been a fan since “Woods of Mystery” and this is why.
Good god, you knock it out of the park every time! I remember the countdown for the first Times End album and being completely captivated by the album when it dropped. I’ve looked forward to every release since, and you’ve only continued to grow and amaze. This has me wanting to replay Kena lol.

Holy shit. this was divine. Like i was expecting it to be absurdly incredible but i don't know how you keep shattering my expectations like that. What in the world. The violin in that part around 4:50 is freaking amazing, the calls back to Molgera and that ending with Dragon Roost's main theme as like, a symbol of the Rito's victory over this great blizzard beast is just.... woah. I would say so much more but i'm stunned/speechless by this. This is probably one of the best thing i've ever heard and i'm gonna listen to it again for the next half hour now. Legit the best way the year could've started holy shit.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Colgera's theme had NO RIGHT being that much of a banger for what's basically the tutorial boss, but holy shit I'm glad it did. I never get tired of this song, what an incredible remix! You guys never miss!

By far the most epic part of this fight is the music. The fight is staged so well and is sadly so easy with the bow, but I went back through to replay this fight using only diving mechanics and LORD DOES THIS SET AN AMAZING TONE FOR THAT WAY OF FIGHTING COLGERA

Got away from OCR for years and then had my mind BLOWN when I looked up who the HECK did the STELLAR Kena Bridge of Spirits soundtrack, and only THEN did I remember you, look you up and find the Time's End albums.
