@@The_three_best_friends I mean, if these videos came out in the order that Link did this adventure, that means he did the entire Master Kohga quest line almost immediately, and because the last one was right under Rito village he just did this quest next
I know a lot of people wanted teba to be the wind sage and no doubt he would have been great as one but tulin holds so much pride for his tribe and despite being the youngest of the sages has possibly the largest potential of being on par with their tribes former champion revali. I love how MOTI these lyrics really show tulins pride. Hope you do the sages themes like the champion they are all so freaking good.
Indeed; it really comes down to what you prefer in a story. I'd say Revali is the better example of what a Rito can accomplish, but he always held himself to that lonely standard of being his tribe's Champion, to the point where his arc concludes with him realizing that while Link "could never hope to make it up to Vah Medoh on his own", Revali in turn could've never united all of Hyrule to stand against the Calamity on his own. In turn, Tulin feels like an evolution of what they were going for with Revali, making him an example of what the Rito are about. He too tries and fails to solve the mystery of the blizzard on his own, and you have to save him from a similar fate. But you can't make it to the Stormwind Ark on your own either, and so your journey serves to teach Tulin a lesson Revali never learned in life - that no individual, not even Hyrule's Champion, can do it all or should be expected to. And at the end of his arc, Tulin knows that he not only has the entire Rito tribe ready to stand behind him in support, but all of Hyrule.
I love the line (oh, we are rito, born to fly! Sail the skyward tide! Upon the wind we ride!) And (for home we broke the roaring ice! Climb to the top and dive! 'Till the sun fills the sky!) It's so good.
Just gonna point out the possible reference to both skyward sword and wind waker (most likely the latter of the two but still thought it was cool) in the lines :3

Two tracks in and I'm already super hyped. This amazing Colgera cover right off the back of Kohga. I really like the back and forth feel of the bits with both Colgera and Tulin, you can feel the high spirits and refusal to back down, even in the face of a monstrous beast.

As the first song to ever make me absolutely bawl my eyes out because of my emotional connection to the Dragon Roost theme, BLESS. THIS. REMIX. Especially Emily as Tulin! Emily's range as a voice actor has always astounded me and seeing her as my lil guy is a treat. Incredible vocal work on everyone's part and wonderful lyrics! Keep up the fantastic work!
It's really fun seeing the many references to your Molgera's song from three years ago in your Colgera's work. The usage of the sentences: "The world will never change" "The tragedy of man" and of course "The conqueror worm" are all references to this previous song and I guess it makes sense, since to some degree Colgera and Molgera are probably related. Good stuff! Also you definitely nailed the Rito's theme lyrics! It really feels so powerful and prideful, worthy of the Rito for sure.
🎶”Oh we are Rito, born to fly! Sail the skyward tide! Upon the winds we ride!”🎶 being sung with the Dragon Roost motif, the original Rito theme, is just PERFECT!
Absolutely love this! Gotta say the fact Colgera has a voice just makes this song a hundred percent more epic. Tulin's lyrics are perfect and I felt genuine chills at the Rito, we are born to fly! lyrics. Phenomenal cover!
Took me a couple days but i figured out why i love Colgera's character in the lyrics. It reminds me of the personalities of Kyurem and Molgera combined, and that just hits so well.
I'm aware the most likely reason this was made was due to this song's popularity, but hearing possible lyrics for the other bosses would be amazing. (also, 10/10 cover and lyrics)
Is it wrong that I predicted that this would be the next song Also I’m surprised that Colgera has a personality this time, he’s more menacing this way.
There's something special about the fact that in the last "now you face the conqueror worm", Tulin's voice is so much louder than Colgera's, like he and Link are really managing to overcome this massive ice monster. That's really one detail I like out of several, you did one of my favorite game soundtracks so much justice that I might be addicted to this song.
Yeah It's interesting. When they make Sonic's version of Tears Of The Kingdom. They're needs to be an Ice ❄ ❄ Boss. Which would be Colgera's Sega Counterpart.

We are their salvation In darkness all you find is annihilation Die, abomination Now we face the conqueror worm From darkness rose the gloom, spread across the nation With malice comes your doom, accept your damnation Through glaciation comes your kingdom’s end Oh, we are Rito, born to fly Sail the skyward tide Upon the wind we ride We dared the raging storm for this confrontation We’ll get the weather warm, start with your cremation No more degradation! Not while we still can ascend For home we broke the roaring ice Climb to the top and dive ‘Til the sun fills the sky The world will never change You know it never can Your deaths will be in vain The tragedy of man I’ll finish what the past began When the lark makes its mark We fly where eagles dare Just to see what’s there We, who sail the air Break the storm and sail the air Too long we’ve huddled up lost in isolation Now found this muddled bug caused precipitation Time immemorial, spreading the starvation Wind, turn to boreal, bring the devastation Sailing the skyward tide, saving aviation I am the Rito’s pride! @@A_Random_Eevee sometimes its easier for people to sing along if they know the upcoming lyrics before hand instead of them showing the lyrics right when the line is being sung
I love how it feels like a conversation between Colgera and Tulin (with Link chipping in a bit during the chorus). The creepiness of Colgera trying to wear down his opponent’s determination versus Tulin’s defiant retaliation. So cool.
Fun fact: During the Boss Fight, Link can simply dive straight through the ice sections (after the spikes have fired off), thus saving Link bow and arrow usage. It's meant to be a prep-test for when Link inevitably faces the Demon Dragon, and has to dive through the fiery balls of gloom in order to reach the sacred stone on its forehead.
Colgera!! Been waiting for forever! It's so good, love the callbacks and it was honestly my favorite track from the game. Glad you covered it! Great as always, MOTI!
I can not tell you how many emotions I felt when I first faced this boss. The wind temple being a ship, their boss being a new version of Molgera, then the dragon roost island part of the song start playing and blew me away. This is my single favorite track to come out of Zelda in the recent years. I'm glad to see you do a lyrics video for it.
And thus, i must play *both* wind waker and totk game soley for this song I love how the lyrics feel so empowering on Tulin's end, like that lone flute braveing the storm of the song trying to create a path for the song I can also just imagine the windwaker's rito joining the background choir as if to asist in spirit Its, again, an empowering song, and i love it
This is the one I’ve been waiting for!!! Ahhhh I’m so glad we got this banger!!! And I love the references to Molgera’s and Revali’s songs so much. Ahh.
It was too much to hope the full song would get covered. But honestly after hearing this, they did such a good job with the best part of the song. It was a pleasure to hear
I never noticed when playing, but makes total sense here that the song takes motifs from the Rito/Dragonroost themes as well as sounding vaguely like Molgera's theme in Wind Waker, a boss that in retrospect it's clearly partially based on and both have themes that go WAY harder than they needed to. Great work on the lyrics as usual!
“Oh, we are Rito, born to fly! Sail the skyward tide! Upon the wind we ride!” and "For home we broke the roaring ice! Climb up the top and dive! Till the sun fills the sky!" That hit hard best part of the song brings BOTW and WW nostalgia
When you think about it, this is probably the most epic fight in TOTK... after a long climb, you soar above the clouds, only to just as quickly dive back down onto a giant flying boat. Then, after an arduous dungeon, you finally open up the hatch that contains this monstrosity. You then proceed to dive through (or shoot at) a huge ice dragon bug while skydiving in the eye of a blizzard, with your best boy Tulin at your back.
Whoa. Talk about ascension! The Dragon Roost callback was already the best part of the song, but now with the chorus of the Rito, it brings even more fitting chills than before! Amazing work, guys.
This whole song is amazing, but I think my favourite part about it has to be how much emotion Emily puts in the "Die, Abomination" line, especially at the end
0:23 - I love how Tulin’s lines here sound like the anthem of the Rito people as a whole. 0:23 and 0:44 sound like a bit of history; like an oral tradition passed down from one generation to the next in the form of song, which is super fitting for a race of bird-folk! Amazing!
I didn't know this song was so good. I didn't really get to hear it because the fight was over as quickly as it started because I instantly knew to go under, in fact I didn't know that you could attack from above. I'm glad this is how I really heard it from the first time.
You know, I thought there might be a reference or two to the Molgera cover given the musical cues in the song, but this went beyond even those expectations. This really felt like an extension of the first fight with Molgera, like the spirits of the Rito warriors of the past were right there with Tulin to help defeat this conqueror worm once again
Hhhh I love how it’s like Tulin is singing! I want that so badly for all the sages!!! It would be so cool if we got one for Sidon, Yunobo, Riju, and Mineru~
2 things. 1. This Lyrics Is Awesome And The Song In General Is Amazing And I love It. 2. MOTI Sounds Like A Zelda Villain, WAYYY Too Much. And it makes Me Want To Draw My Master Sword Against Him In An EPIC Battle.
EMILY DID *GREAT!* The power of her vocals as Tulin was marvelous! And Alex did great, too! Not too much autotune on either of them, nor too many effect. You have gained a sub.
Colgera is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music and you guys floored me with this one. Emily’s passionate voice made me tear up (no pun intended) several times.
I thought you were going to merge the different themes of Colgeta's theme but this is fire regardless. I wonder how it would've turned out if it had included the other parts of this theme.
I was hoping Colgera would make the bytes package, I just didn't expect it so soon. The little call backs to Molgera was a nice inclusion and then the deep cut of that one line from the songtobers Dragon Roost just made it even better.
I have a bias when it comes to this song... And my god guys... The lyrics that references to Wind Waker... Also, the voices for both Colgera and Tulin eached showed and expressed the Cold, fearsome Scourge of the Wind Temple, Colgera, and the determined spirit of our Young Rito Warrior, Tulin. My god... I'm getting goosebumps from this...
Colgera was my first boss and I was severely underwhelmed with how easy such a large and imposing boss was. Now I’m wondering how you made one of the low points of my play through so epic?!
The references to the botw songs is great, covering a fantastic song with fun lyrics. Dueling verse. Fantastic. Makes me curious and excited about having a similar song for all the sages or if the most popular one gets that treatment
This song is amazing, I love it! And a couple of things occurred to me, like the fact that possibly the one who sings the verses in blue is Ganondorf singing through Colgera, I mean listen to that voice, it's incredibly serious, it sounds like him (more or less) And another thing that would have been great is that in the chorus the voice that was used in the Revali ballad song could be heard mostly, it would have been epic
It’s honestly amazing how much colgera feels like a final boss, from the entire fight taking place in the skies, colgeras threatening design, and how intense the theme is, and then you realize

Agreed
I love the( we'll get the weather warm, we'll start with your cremation)
I also like how the song tells you the "proper way" to fight Coldera where ya dice right through him which is just cool as hell

Me Too. What if Tulin's Sega Counterpart Tails was like that?
Love the dueling duet between monster and sage. Fantastic performance from both sides.
This is my new favorite MOTI song, everything about it is just so good! I especially love all the “-ation” rhymes. It’s just literally music to my ears! Fantastic!
“How many -ation rhymes do you want to fit into one song?”
MOTI: yes.

1. Starvation
2. Devastation
3. Creation
4. Isolation

Two tracks in and I'm already super hyped. This amazing Colgera cover right off the back of Kohga.
I really like the back and forth feel of the bits with both Colgera and Tulin, you can feel the high spirits and refusal to back down, even in the face of a monstrous beast.
Three songs, they also did the main theme and it was real dang good!
I love the Callbacks to Molgera the musical, because Colgera is just a Reincarnation of Molgera. Proving that the world will never change

Now that you mention it, it reminds me of Kyurem for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity.
Tbh colgera reminded me of Giratina (origin forme especially) cause of its portal powers.
I'm aware the most likely reason this was made was due to this song's popularity, but hearing possible lyrics for the other bosses would be amazing.
(also, 10/10 cover and lyrics)
Is it wrong that I predicted that this would be the next song
Also I’m surprised that Colgera has a personality this time, he’s more menacing this way.
Nah, I don’t think it is. Besides, I predicted that this would get a MOTI cover back when they released the main theme with lyrics
I predicted that Master Kohga was coming last week, so I believe you!
I wonder if the Demon Dragon with get a song like this too.
@@GerudoKing_I hope Ganondorf gets a turn as well
@@chadpeterson5698 True. There’s a lot to work with in his theme.
Wasn’t expecting Colgera to speak, but I’m so glad he does!
Yeah It's interesting. When they make Sonic's version of Tears Of The Kingdom. They're needs to be an Ice ❄ ❄ Boss. Which would be Colgera's Sega Counterpart.

Lyrics
Time immemorial, spreading the starvation
Wind, turn to boreal, bring the devastation
So falls creation to the conqueror worm
Oh, we are Rito, born to fly
Sail the skyward tide
Upon the wind we ride
Too long we’ve huddled up lost in isolation
Now found this muddled bug caused precipitation
This confrontation ends this frozen term
For home we broke the roaring ice
Climb to the top and dive
‘Til the sun fills the sky
The world will never change
The Demon King decrees
Your deaths will be in vain
The kingdom’s hope will freeze
Not while I’m flying free
When the lark makes its mark
We fly where eagles dare
Just to see what’s there
We, who sail the air
Break the storm and sail the air
Too long we’ve huddled up lost in isolation
Now found this muddled bug caused precipitation
Time immemorial, spreading the starvation
Wind, turn to boreal, bring the devastation
Sailing the skyward tide, saving aviation
I am the Rito’s pride! We are their salvation
In darkness all you find is annihilation
Die, abomination
Now we face the conqueror worm
From darkness rose the gloom, spread across the nation
With malice comes your doom, accept your damnation
Through glaciation comes your kingdom’s end
Oh, we are Rito, born to fly
Sail the skyward tide
Upon the wind we ride
We dared the raging storm for this confrontation
We’ll get the weather warm, start with your cremation
No more degradation! Not while we still can ascend
For home we broke the roaring ice
Climb to the top and dive
‘Til the sun fills the sky
The world will never change
You know it never can
Your deaths will be in vain
The tragedy of man
I’ll finish what the past began
When the lark makes its mark
We fly where eagles dare
Just to see what’s there
We, who sail the air
Break the storm and sail the air
Too long we’ve huddled up lost in isolation
Now found this muddled bug caused precipitation
Time immemorial, spreading the starvation
Wind, turn to boreal, bring the devastation
Sailing the skyward tide, saving aviation
I am the Rito’s pride! We are their salvation
In darkness all you find is annihilation
Die, abomination

Oh, we are Rito, born to fly
Sail the skyward tide
Upon the wind we ride

Fun Fact : I didn't know I was supposed to use the bow until I seen this video......

I love how the lyrics feel so empowering on Tulin's end, like that lone flute braveing the storm of the song trying to create a path for the song
I can also just imagine the windwaker's rito joining the background choir as if to asist in spirit
Its, again, an empowering song, and i love it
This is the one I’ve been waiting for!!! Ahhhh I’m so glad we got this banger!!! And I love the references to Molgera’s and Revali’s songs so much. Ahh.

*Do it* you wont regret it.
If you do play it try to avoid spoilers as much as you can so don’t do research on this boss in the video as it’s a major boss in the game
Upon the wind we ride!”
and
"For home we broke the roaring ice!
Climb up the top and dive!
Till the sun fills the sky!"
That hit hard best part of the song brings BOTW and WW nostalgia
When you think about it, this is probably the most epic fight in TOTK... after a long climb, you soar above the clouds, only to just as quickly dive back down onto a giant flying boat. Then, after an arduous dungeon, you finally open up the hatch that contains this monstrosity. You then proceed to dive through (or shoot at) a huge ice dragon bug while skydiving in the eye of a blizzard, with your best boy Tulin at your back.
It's quite ironic how the boss from the cold, windy temple always gives me chills when listening to its theme
The conqueror worm poem callbacks! The songtober Dragonroost Isle callbacks!! The Molgera callbacks!!! IT'S ALL SO GOOD!!!
I THINK I LITERALLY ASCENDED DURING THAT CHORUS OML THIS WAS SO GOOD
I love how none of the rito want to adventure the storm because they're all too scared to go up there but tulin is like ''sure ill do it.''
"Fine, I'll do it myself"
"Nah, I'd win"
"A'ight, bet"
I adore Colgera’s voice actor here. The vocal sounds exactly like what you would expect a monster of that size and shape to sound. Amazing job to all.
Whoa. Talk about ascension! The Dragon Roost callback was already the best part of the song, but now with the chorus of the Rito, it brings even more fitting chills than before! Amazing work, guys.
