Warnie’s argument about how it’s a responsibility is spot on. When was the last time Bangladesh toured Australia for Test matches? In my lifetime, they’re probably the only team I’ve seen that hasn’t (Ireland and Afghanistan excluded)
It was back in 2003. When Bangladesh got their test status.
Bangladesh toured way back in 2003 for both tests & ODIs & the last ODI tour was in 2008. Those two tours were in winter.
But nothing since. I’d like to see it one day

We need to get that touring system we had in the early 2000s when everyone had to tour each other on a rota. This current old boys club thing should be a relic of the past!
@@anneeq008 agreed test cricket was so much better in 2000-2005 because the legends were a dime a dozen especially in Australia, but the game felt bigger because you’d play England and then India the. Zimbabwe then West Indies then New Zealand then someone else. Now it feels like rugby union or rugby league it’s the same 3-4 country’s every time Australia, New Zealand, South Africa England and India.

I don’t think Australia’s players have got anywhere near the credit they deserve for touring Pakistan. I totally understand the security concerns players will have had (let’s not forget the spectators too) but it is wonderful to see a test played again in Pakistan. And just listening to Warney speak is to realise what a big loss to the game he is. A total ambassador for the game.

I think 99% of the times the bails should be designed in a way where they are extremely light and come off. But in some cases if it doesn’t that should go in favor of the batsmen

If there is enough curve on the wicket the end of the bails can sit comfortably without the breeze blowing it away. A spring inside that pushes the bails in the air upon the balls contact with the wicket would also be pretty cool.

@samuelloification correct but if Pakistan goes out of the ICC, the international cricket will not survive much longer. Most of the rights come from India, a 1.5 billion + people containing country. If there is no Pak vs Ind match, almost half of the cricketing stocks will go down. So indirectly, Pakistan is also a huge reason of money 💰

It's almost a catch 22, they can have a huge cricket economy just based on population (Not as big as India but still decent sized 200m+ people) but for that there needs to be more cricket played in Pakistan.

Average : runs conceded per wicket; Strike rate : no. of legal balls bowled by a bowler to take a wicket.
