Wore this knot to work today and my customers and my coworkers all loved the knot a lot. Thank you so much for showing me these knots and making my fashion go the extra mile with just an accessory.
Thank you so much for making this video!I just started wearing a tie every Thursday at school and I really enjoy all the creative knots i have learned about through you. This is one of my favorite tie knots!
Thanks a lot! I have to choose between eldridge and merovingian knote, i will wear only vest, without jacket. I think that the merovingian is the best choise!
Did you know? The Merovingians were the ruling class of France in the 7th Century A.D. and also the name of a type of Gnostic Church. Many elements from the church appear in the Matrix movies.
Matrix Trivia. Lambert Wilson’s French accent as The Merovingian is intentionally exaggerated at the directors’ demand. Wilson speaks English very well and said it was his only deception towards the movie.
The Merovingian (sometimes called The Frenchman) is an old, powerful program that resides within the Matrix. Self-described as a "trafficker of information," the Merovingian behaves much as a leader of a powerful organized crime syndicate. He and his wife Persephone operate a smuggling ring providing haven for exiled programs in the Matrix
Matrix Trivia. When Neo, Trinity and Morpheus arrive at the Merovingian's restaurant, the camera pans left oddly from the main table to show a man walking away, looking over his shoulder at Neo. This man is the father of Seti from Revolutions. Kind of interesting, since in Revolutions, the father mentions his meeting with the Merovingian.
@Patrick Novotny (The Tie Guy) Mine too. I haven't used the same knot twice yet this year. And It's been in large part thanks to all your videos. I like the way you explain what your going to do before you do it. Makes it so much easier to learn. So once again thanks a lot.
I love the look of this knot for a formal occasion. Would you happen to know maybe where to find a half black, half white tie; big half black with a white little half? Also, i try to tie many of these with my ties, and apparently I buy short ties. Your ties look so much longer than mine.
I usually get it to come down past my belly button. I usually place the skinny end in the general area of the third button going down from your shirt. It's often either right on front of the button or c in the middle of it and forth button and I generally get out where I wasn't with a little trial and error but that method fm does the trick

"You see there is only one constant. One universal. It is the only truth: Causality. Action, reaction. Cause and effect." -The Merovingian

101 is also the number of the floor where Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus have lunch with the Merovingian.

Artashir Martel Sounds like you have it all figured out. Nice.
Patrick Novotny you'll need a tie of adequate length but getting the narrow end to line up with larger end can be done
Learn how to tie the Merovingian knot here as seen on Jimmy Kimmel and FreddieW video Tie Fighters (ft. Jimmy Kimmel)
you said it was way to short, not for a really short person with a way too long tie!
I'd sure try it as so Patrick yea
Yes
yes I like it ,I want to learn that ....
Awesome!
Nice ... may it work tucking the proper part in the shirt tho'??!
It might. I have always worn a vest with this knot.
thanks, oh my brother.
Louie Bookie No. Thank you Sir.
Has anyone pointed out that if you're a short guy you don't need to cover in with a waistcoat, etc.
Never thought of that, but you make a very good point.
so... just an inside out Windsor??
No.
+Patrick Novotny (The Tie Guy) and why not?
It's not tied the same.
This video would be fine if it began at 1:33
This knot is awful. Nobody should ever wear it. Flashy garbage
