How to tie the PERFECT Eldredge Knot for beginners

- Hey you guys! So I LOVE the eldredge knot, but I've never liked that the knot ends with the tail under the collar. SO, I thought of a new way to tie it, where the tail of the knot ends in the BACK of the tie! This is much better, and will help your knot last all day!
I truly hope that you think this is the Perfect Eldredge Knot for beginners, especially because I try to explain it as well as possible, and move slowly through the steps! If you have another knot you'd like me to revamp, let me know!

We have a big event coming up where I bartend/serve, gonna tie this and rock my granddads Roadrunner tie pin Plymouth Motors gave him when he became lead mechanic, right under the dimple with a full apron, should be enough to pin the tail up. Tie pins rock when you're putting in work on the floor or behind the bar, keeps everything together and looks old school classy.

Best tutorial on TH-cam! I memorized this knot due to how easy you make it. I'm a black doctor and wear a tie daily and sometimes I like to feel dapper. I notice that it resonates with more with some of my older patients and they always smile when they see the knots and talk to me about it. Anyway, I subscribed. Thanks again!

Congratulations, you learned how to tie what is considered a childlike and feminine knot that will get you "look at the tourist" look from other gentlemen. If it's not a Windsor or a Double Windsor you may as well just wear a bolo tie which is just as silly.

My favorite knot would definitely have to be the Italian knot. It’s simple yes. But where I’m so skinny, the knot fits perfectly with my body style. But I’m definitely gonna try this one, because I love how complex it looks

Wow after some shitty tutorials i was so frustrated every time i was trying to make this knot right. Doing it with u in that short 5 min tutorial i managed to tie a perfect eldredge knot without any trouble at the first attempt. Thank u man! Perfect tutorial. I accidentally stumbled upon a way to make this knot even more interesting by flipping the backside of the narrow tail to the front during the first crossing, that way the back side of the tie shows in the knot

I watched about 10 videos on how to do this knot, and they were either too quick, poorly explained, skipped important steps, or couldn't tell their left from right 😂
So thank you for actually giving a good explanation and something that could actually be followed. Its worth noting I found this knot much harder with a cheap tie 😅.

This is so much better than the other way. It looks more symmetrical and it feels better. I love the way the Eldridge knot looks but hate the way I can feel the difference in thickness under my collar. I learned the original way many years ago and I can’t believe this video was posted five years ago and I’m just now seeing it.

this is the perfect for finding out how to tie a tie and the most discritive on it i tried 2 times got it on my second so happy with this video leaving a like and going to tie the tie this way since I have no idea how to any other way
