    I appreciate the in depth details you explain when you are creating your videos. I am building a '69 and your videos have helped me more than any other ones that I have watched. Please keep the awesome content coming!

      Very kind words… Thanks for saying. I really appreciate the support and encouragement. Where are you at with your build?

      @@ParadiseBayCustoms I have replaced both full quarters, out wheel wells, inner and outer tail panel, trunk floor including trunk floor closeouts (thanks again to your video for great instructions) installed DSE Quadralink rear structure along with their mini-tub kit, full passenger rocker panel and drivers side floor pan. I just put the body on my rotisserie and after looking at all the old undercoating, I am contemplating replacing the full floor instead of spending countless hours scraping off the 53 year old undercoating. I also have a complete DSE front sub frame and will be installing a late model Camaro engine along with the 8 or 10 speed automatic transmission. Lots of work ahead of me, but it is a great hobby and stress release for me

      @@stevensmallwood2231 Very cool. Out of all the stuff I’ve done, I’m reluctant to replace my quarter panels. Don’t know why. I have full replacements on hand but haven’t made my mind up yet. Once I get the floor in I’ll have to decide. How did you find replacing yours?

      @@ParadiseBayCustoms I was worried about replacing mine, but it was absolutely necessary. I searched a lot of TH-cam videos, then just went ahead and dug into it. They went on a lot easier than I thought. I bought mine from NPD and was concerned because they were not name brand, but I have no complaints that I haven't already heard. The biggest issue was the trunk corners were not good at all. The dye that these were stamped from must be getting worn out. I was able to cut the trunk corners from my original quarter panels and I welded the old corners onto the new new quarter panels and they fit perfect with the original trunk lid. From seeing the quality and skill you have, you will have no problems installing new quarters.

    The craftsmanship and attention to precision on your project is astounding. Did you recently upgrade your camera, because the video is a couple of notches above anything I see on You Tube. Keep them coming.

    Hi Ken, are you using the DS Rear sway bar for this setup? And if so I was wondering if you could give me the part number of the one you are using and the outside dimension of the bar at the Eyelet end?

    • @ParadiseBayCustoms
      @ParadiseBayCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep. Using the 1-1/4” DSE Sway Bar. Part # 042208DS Will need to measure at the eyelet end to confirm. Will get back to you.

    Hi Ken, What is your plan for the reared gear ratio?

    • @ParadiseBayCustoms
      @ParadiseBayCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      I went with a 3.70 ratio. My concern with the horsepower I want (dreaming of) is that 1st gear will be useless. I was tempted to go with a 3.89, a compromise from a 4.11 but GearFX confirmed 3.70 probably best with what I’m doing. 👍

      @@ParadiseBayCustoms I am in the same frame of thought. I have a 544hp LS3 with a T56 and I was kind of bouncing between 3.50 and 3.70.

    • @ParadiseBayCustoms
      @ParadiseBayCustoms  ปีที่แล้ว

      With the T56 I’d go with the 3.70. Go much lower and you’d really need to be booking it on the highway to be using it. In my mind 3.70 is the sweet spot. Most autocross guys go 3.70 too which helped validate my decision.
