HI, When you imported the custom terrain into twinmotion, were you able to use the paint terrain tool on it?. Im not able to do this on mine, if you know a way you can do this could you let me know? thanks. Great Video though :D.
how do i scale the starting ground? its to big and it seems its the only place to sculpt the ground? i tried makeing new but its the same, i can rotate and move but the scale cant be used.
Hi, i've doing some experiments in Lumion, i'm trying to make surface imperfection work exactly as it should. I combined the maps (gloss, roughness, surface imperfections, etc) and the alpha channels inside photoshop and i got some very nice results, but still not perfect. Do you have any techniques or can you do a video about it? Thank you very much.
@@ArchitectureInspirations Thanks for answering. Yes, i've been using Lumion for a long time now. I'm not going for weathering but for scretches and smudges for example. It's easy to add that type of map on vray and i was wondering If you had done this before somehow. Vray is not on my workflow anymore. Thank you!
Ah got it. Yeah adding imperfection maps is kinda difficult since Lumion doesnt gave gloss or reflection maps. It will be tricky though. I'm not sure to be honest
@@ArchitectureInspirations Actually you can use 100% of those maps editing the textures in photoshop, combining those in the alpha channels of the texture. By the time i sent you the first message til now i got it working very well. Same result as using vray. imperfection map + gloss map of the albedo(wood, concrete, metal, etc) inside the alpha channel of the normal map of this albedo. And outside of the alpha channel (normal layer system), you have the normal map layer and just add the normal map of the scratch as a new layer and the opacity will control the "depth" of the scratch. Not ideal but it worked out amazing. Give it a try if you have the time. Thank you.
The terrain changes as you approach and move away from the scene. When viewed from a distance and up close, the terrain is completely different. How to fix it? Thanks

Oh that's interesting. Though Lumion has the weathering option, that could be used to add imperfections more easily. Have you tried that?
