  • Mutation Description: "The siege on the xel'naga temple has intensified. Amon's strongest creations embolden their minions as they break themselves upon your ramparts, only to rise again. Not only that, but they also attack your fortifications from afar. Endure the assault and keep the temple secure."
    Mutators:
Just Die! - Enemy units are automatically revived upon death.
Long Range - Enemy units & structures have increased weapon and vision range.
Inspiration - Enemy Heroic units increase the attack speed and armor of all enemies within a small range.
    Special Notes: P3
    Commander: Dehaka
    Prestige: BroodBrother (P3)
    Advantages:
    -Dehaka spawns a clone.
    Disadvantages:
-If either Dehaka or the clone dies, the other dies as well.
Masteries: 30 Devour Healing Increase, 30 Pack Leaders Active Duration, 30 Gene Mutation Chance
    Enemy Composition: Devouring Scourge
Kimmo's Notes: Devouring Scourge can be seen as a questionable choice on a map like Temple of the Past. It's a very slow moving composition as the game goes on but it has a reputation for the Scourge blitzing past defenses and doing big damage onto the Temple. And if enough Scourge hit it in one volley, a huge fraction of its health is instantly lost.
Conventionally, the answer to this is to put anti-air defenses around the Temple in advanced so they'd shoot down the Scourge before they can do their Kamikaze maneuver onto it. However, there's an answer against this composition that can heavily mitigate the impact that the Scourge will have - The Pattern. Pattern B has more condensed waves, meaning it's much easier to prepare for where the Scourge will come from. Pattern A's multiple drops near the Temple can have the Scourge touching it before a player can react. But Pattern B only has two drops the entire game and they both come at the 15 minute mark.
Another answer Dehaka has against the Scourge is Dehaka himself. At LV10, he can be targeted by Scourge. This means that he'll be able to tank them and with Broodbrother, that's two of them that can tank Scourge. With good health management of the Broodbrothers, Scourge will always waste themselves on them. Creeper Hosts also can trade out their Locusts with Scourge as well. Their salvos funneling into one lane is conductive to Pattern B as well.
This now completes all four Prestiges of Dehaka for Worn Out Welcome played by me. I've done this before three years ago but this time around, I would say I played better. I couldn't ever finish the job on Pattern B and now I have two different runs using the pattern. Great redemption for myself from back then.
