@@dillon9421 i wouldn't stress about the pressure mate. I've had mine blocked off for a good 4 months or so now with no dramas. The EGR pipe should be adequate to withstand the pressure anyway, as it should be closed when not cruising anyway.
Although I haven’t done it yet, I’ll be blocking both ends. If the EGR cooler springs a leak, which they are prone to. You won’t have exhaust pressure in the cooling system.
