- The 44th President Barack Obama calls into Boston Public Radio to wish outgoing Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick well.
Obama thanks Patrick for his service in Massachusetts and the two share laughs, jokes, and heartfelt compliments.
“Mr. President, I love you, but you still have trouble saying Massachusetts,” says Patrick.

A phone call to a local radio station to talk to the Governor, giving what is essentially an endorsement. It’s an example of how politics works, and if not for the ranting of the current lunatic, probably wouldn’t be noteworthy to anyone outside of Massachusetts.

I think when America was better, is a better description. We still didn’t have universal healthcare allowing 45,000 Americans to die every year because of it. Obama actually had a 90 % civilian casualty rate for his drone strikes, 60 % of those being kids.
Obama was an okay president, but he wasn’t anywhere close to perfect. There have surely been better.

Listening to Obama talk about his "dear friends" and speak without cruelty or malice in words is so very different than what we have today. I'm not saying the guys perfect, but I do miss having someone like that in the Presidency.
