- Former President Barack Obama made a surprise visit to the south side today.
He was back in his hometown to check on the progress of his presidential center.
He still has such an amazing presence about him. He exudes such confidence and charisma. Obama is truly a great man.

It was really just a title given out of tradition until Trump came along and he literally still believes he's president, and so do his supporters.
Man I was never a fan of Obama as a president but I was always appreciative of how kind of a person he is and how good of a husband and father he is.
You don't have to love his policies. However, he is a good person. Look at Jimmy Carter, not even a fair US President, in the least. But, a genuine, earnest, and kind man.

When president Obama was president there hasn’t been a president I’ve known that is anything like him, one of the greatest things about him is his ability to go out and meet people just pop in and surprise people and he’s just so genuine, easy laidback and down to earth. We were blessed to have this man as our president and when he came there was no drama, like with others, the only other I could remotely think close to President Obama is President Jimmy Carter.
