Why? I love OLED but Mini LED is so much brighter. I rather have the brighter screen IMHO. I actually had an ASUS Zennbook 14 with an old screen and loved it but it didn't get bright enough. At home even I had it around 90% brightness while my M3 Pro MBP I have around 60%

I had the 15" M2 for ten days but had to exchange it for the 14" M3 Pro. Xcode would stop responding from light task. I did a factory reset and issue persist. I exchanged it for the 14" M3 Pro because it was on sale at Best Buy for $1749. Otherwise, I would have just told Best Buy my 15" is a defect and needs to be replaced. I really do miss the 15" screen size but for $1749 on a brand new 14" M3 Pro, I could not pass up on that offer.

I have it for over 5+ months now close to a year and it’s an absolute beast! I only maxed out the RAM to 24gb ram with 256gb SSD cause i don’t really see a difference with the speeds and I always don’t mind the waiting on the downloads anyway since I’m doing something else to keep me busy. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it! Use multiple tabs, have photoshop open while watching a stream or TH-cam, pretty much have multiple applications open and the 24gb ram REALLY helps to not wear out the SSD swap or MacBook itself, absolute powerful machine!

I’m still using the base M1 MacBook Air. It’s a great little computer.. I really like it. Screen, speakers and build quality are nicer than anything I’ve had before it.
I just stream video.. TH-cam and Apple TV and Apple Music. I’d have gotten a 14” M1 Pro if I was managing a TH-cam channel with it. That extra ram and GPU cores go a long way.

I bought an M3 Pro MBP for school, but quickly realized that it is A LOT of computer. I upgraded from an i5 Lenovo I bought in 2016. I found a 13” M2 MacBook Air on FB Marketplace and jumped on it. I use the Air a lot more than the Pro (which stays in clamshell mode in my office). The Air is much more convenient and the screen is almost the same size as the MBP.

I upgraded to an m2 air over the summer and the thing was excellent. Especially the weight and slimness.. However I"ve now got and m3pro pro.. Why? I made the mistake of going for a 512/8gb air and that 8gb just wasn't enough and I happened to find a great deal on the m3 on craigslist just after xmas.. unwanted gift.. However, if it werent for that, i'd likely still be using the air and looking at exchanging it for one with more ram. The pro is still pretty portable, important because i travel with it daily.. but the air was just fantastic in this regard. Aside from the ram, the pro is also admittedly overkill in most areas for me.. It is awesome though and I am a sucker for a top tier display. I also feel like I got slightly better battery life with the air. They're both great but the air had a slight edge.. Both last the day just fine though and thats with me limiting the max charge to ~85%
