PAL is not a budget carrier. Although may not be the best in terms of service, PAL is our flag carrier. Tagging our flag carrier as a budget carrier is not just distasteful but disrespectful as well. You need to learn on your technicalities if you wanna fly as a legit trip reporter…
Certainly in terms of pricing, PAL charges fares as if they were a flag carrier :)

I flew in Delta that's filthy. American airlines with Cebu Pacific level of seats. For a 1st world supposedly, definitely worse than Philippine airlines. Real talk!

Cebu Pacific is actually the Philippine's budget carrier and has the biggest fleet
I forgot to mention that United airlines is like a toilet and septic tank level in terms of maintenance and cleanliness and service is highly questionable.
America may be considered a 1st world country, but their legacy carriers are very 3rd world, if not below 3rd world.

It is a legacy carrier founded in 1941 first competition came in 1946 on Hong Kong to Manila with Cathay Pacific 1948-present this would be Japan Airlines Northwest ANA on MNL-NRT/HND. The competition to this route is actually an American Legacy Carrier United Airlines MNL-GUM🇺🇲. The American competition on this route offers B737 trips all the way to the east coast of the United States IAD and EWR.

The seatbelt sign is turned off at 10,000 ft, Meals start shortly after, they don't wait until cruise to turn it off

If you're seated in the last few rows of economy then expect you won't get your choice, the service design for airlines is to cater equally on whatever the options are doesn't matter how light the loads are. Trust me I work as a cabin crew you aren't the only passenger that has complained about missing out. 😂😅
Ha ha budget carrier ! I ´m French and in Europe and north America, on legacy airlines you have no food and no screen! Anyway great review
Well that's certainly the case for short-haul in Europe but when you compare PR to other airlines in Asia, it's hard to make an argument otherwise.

PAL at least is above and beyond than American Airlines and Delta when it comes to service crew, food offerings, and cleanliness.
I have flown Delta and American a couple of times with their narrow body planes, and thankfully PAL is better than those legacy US carriers.
So, when Americand criticize PAL, they should rather look at their local airlines. Theirs is on the shameful state.
They have way too many old and filthy cabins.

@@MegaPinoy2Because of the food if the flight is MNL - LAX the food will be good but short flights the food maybe cold or just bad But.. I've been flying cebu Pacific From MNL - to DXB you won't believe it that you need to buy a water and it's not even free unlike Philippine airline thats why i always use Philippine airline
