Got any suggestions on where I should go next? Let me know!!!
Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.
Glad to see US domestic cabins getting better finally. I flew United's 737-900 last year and it was surprisingly good for a 30 inch pitch, comparable to Alaska's 31 inch pitch and better than Southwest's 31 inch pitch. Nice to see seatback IFE coming back too. Living in Denver, United is my usual go to airline these days
United is only getting better honestly. This new interior I'm seeing it more and more flying out of SFO
Wow !! It’s unbelievably quiet !! That’s impressive on its own.
I was thinking the same thing. No "buzzsaw."
1:57 that’s a 767, not 777
I was on the inaugural flight from Houston to Chicago on November 30th and saw you by the gate as I deplaned. I was hoping you would fly on this one; great work!
That UA ORD terminal is, like, totally rad! It's forever 1988 in there.
Wait’ll you see T3…
Cool Video iTripReport! It was wonderful to meet you in real life and it was funny seeing you NOT be on the actual inaugural, lmao!
Flying in a few months on the a321 neo ORD to LAX thank you for the preview
My UAL traveler. I like watching your vids for all my UAL plane views. You do great vids. Thanks for supporting one of my favorites & airline i was thrilled to work until Jeff Smisek outsourced my DTW station. Im not mad at UAL. Im mad at Smisek, cause i really enjoyed my UAL job.
This looks like an absolute delight
Wow those new cabins look so good
Thank you I asked you before I’m so excited to see it
My friend Trevor flew the inaugural from IAH to ORD and posted his flight on his social media. I look forward to flying this aircraft soon!
Flying from ORD to RSW on it next month. Now I’m even more excited after hearing that the jets are brand new!
I had the same breakfast on a recent flight from LAX to EWR. It was pretty good.
I’ve had it way too many times this year. Ofc for me it’s, Good breakfast, but it’s also the “office hot” version of meals. Love it cuz it’s the best United has, but it’s not the best outside of United
bruh when the intro music drops I GO HAM
That landing 🛬
ANOTHER INSANE CROSSOVER. ITRIPREPORT AND AVIATION MALIQ
What an awesome video! I am happy that United is looking forward into Airbus to more sustainable aircrafts such as the A321neo.
The lighting looks gorgeous!!
Stunning.
Splendid.
Nice video! Enjoyed watching it! Thanks for sharing!
I think UA did a wonderful job at seeing what the other US carriers did with their 321s and improved 👍🏽
Muy buena tu crónica, la calidad de la imagen es muy buena así como tus acertados comentarios, ya puedes considerarte un cronista profesional a mi criterio, tienes el talento y la experiencia necesaria en tu currículum. ¡Bravo 🙌¡
I was waiting for this.
4:42.. you got a little ledge next to the usb slots. Make the connection.
Such a beautiful plane! ✈️
NEXT is a fitting name for United’s project. Just when you think improvements have hit steady state, there is a NEXT version that could hit avgeeks by surprise at any moment. When they started refurbishing planes, it marks the start of NEXT 2.0 with Type C ports in economy, bulkhead mounted IFEs in Economy Plus, and a redesigned seatback for first class for most planes. The 321NEO marks the start of NEXT 3.0 with a redesigned IFE screen
Love to see it, seeing a united a321 is definitely odd though!
It’s not odd, without the A321, it looks so out of place in the UA Airbus fleet and was a much needed aircraft for years
Perfect!
holy crap never thought i would see the day when united airlines gets a a321 RIP 757 😭😭😭
Gorgeous aircraft.Excellent flight review
looks awesome
I tried to get on United’s inaugural but it didn’t work out for me. I wonder when the Max10 will be certified. I got to try Delta’s A321neo recently.
I can’t wait for the next one
I wonder if United will have that interior on the MEX-ORD run?
I am flying on a 777 200 in first class from Maui to San Francisco then I have a connection with A-321Neo to Chicago can’t wait
Ojalá puedas documentar el nuevo A321 NX airspace de Viva son los últimos 2 aviones que llegaron para Viva, me gusta mucho tu contenido 🫶🏻
En eso estoy jaja! Ya los tengo en mi mira
Great video. I am looking forward to fly on UA A321neo next year
enjoy your video if i had a window seat i ne up going to the restroom i very shy i hate asking people on a plane to get up for me to go to the restroom
I caught your friend Maliq's trip report earlier today. I seriously thought I was watching an ITripReport! If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... 🤭
Great video👍
Nice to see your video again! Your style is near perfect now.
Huge difference the minute you board the plane is the wider cabin. So much more space. Very excited for United to get this new plane. I'm a little crushed though they did not go with the mask. Just looks kinda drab tbh, surprised how I've grown accustomed to the neos w goggles!!
I see you have a fellow avgeek with you boarding behind you filming every isle lol
I see united now had boarding Music
Wow. Nice and sleek cabin design. Just curious btw, why all the windows are closed during the boarding? or it is purposely done for the inaugural flight?
Every airline has it that way. Cleaners do it
In hotter places, it keeps the plane cooler since AC usually isn’t on during boarding
So the refreshed 319s and 320s don’t have this seat, but the refreshed 737s have it? Refreshed meaning NEXT interior
They have a modified version of the old seat that tries to mimic the new seat
Some A319s do have the NEXT cabin. I've seen reviews on them and they look pretty good
Good video
Thanks for your review but UA just isn't for me nor is DL and AA....sort of in a fix aren't I? Take care and have a great evening!
I like and enjoy your video ♥️♥️♥️🇳🇬
Imagine United getting an A220 now. I had never come across an airliner that has the 737max, A321neo, and A220.
I believe that United, among American companies, is the one I see with a better future
Sick new metal! Just curious, what is the point of the semi-inaugural flights?? I'd be disappointed if I booked it for the 14th and then saw this lol!
I originally booked the 14th, I’m still doing it, but yeah im not happy about how United pushed it forward the way they did.
They’re buying A321’s now??? Fresh NEW N44501!!
Esa primera clase, igual que la económica premier de las líneas árabes y de Singapur
The Uber driver commentary was priceless
@iTripReport What’s the route for this flight?
Does the aisle "armrests" in first lower or otherwise adjust? I saw some stories saying they move for easy access, but they look fixed like a bulkhead seat.
on the 2016 seats it did, unfortunetly, on these new seats, its no longer the case, both the aisle and central armrests are fixed into position.
@@ITripReport I know not everyone liked the 2016 seats but I did like that aspect about them as a bigger guy to be honest.
How did you animate your intro?
does the divider between the seats slide down? button or a firm push?
why they didn't wanted the maskerade on the pilot's windows ?
I hope they put the ETOPS certification back on the main landing gear and let their airbus pilots fly to Hawaii.
Looks nice, but at 6'5" that 30“ pitch in economy is on my no-fly list.
Fly first class
@@_1Brick1_ that's not really an option for everyone my lad
Absolutely fantastic trip report as always Emil!😸
I thought your video really was petty on what you perceived as “flaws” . United is kicking and whipping Delts and Americans asses and is competing with international airliners. They have upped their service 10 fold. Their routes, domestic hubs and
Connections and partnerships are just a league on their own. I flew Delta A321neo a couple months back and was so disappointed . Their service was slow and mediocre at best at least the sad crew I had. Does not mean I would not fly them again if I absolutely had to. Let’s face it all US airliners need to up their meal service in all
Classes dramatically. But so far United in my opinion is far ahead of the other big 2. The Neo321 is amazing and so glad they have it. Can’t wait for the Max 10 and when they option for new 777x8 amd 9’s. United is my first choice , second choice and third choice. Currently 2023 going into 2024 the best airline flying !!! Period.
They fixed the low volume issue for Bluetooth?
What were you guys talking about in the taxi? Not judging just intrigued.
I wish I could tell you 😭. It was 5am I was running on 3 hours of sleep, I let him talk and just agreed with what he said
I just flew on AA on the Max from BWI to MIA, and their catering was way better than this, but this seat is miles better, though the Max also has a nice, spacious cabin.
It's interesting how many flight reviewers tout how great the Airspace cabins are, but never credit the design to Boeing on the Dreamliner, which is the granddaddy of 'Airspace' cabins.
I will never get used to United flying 321s
I love united but when I say this I mean it. THEY NEED A NEW SAFETY VIDEO. I mean the one they have now is probably the best one I have seen compared to other airlines but I could have sworn I saw the same video 5 or 6 years ago on a different flight.
Dont get me started on my airline AA and uncle Doug believing that taking OUT the IFE was the way to go. DUMB move. People WANT seat back IFE, it keeps them occupied and it offers so much. Good job UA 👏🏽👏🏽
AA went and is continuing to go down the drain.
Alaska and Hawaiian just announced they are merging.
I’m still processing that one
Excellent trip report but for the mechanic side it'll be a nightmare for them due to the fact that A321neo has PW1000G and B737max is CFM Leap-X. The correct action for the management is CFM Leap-X that way a B737max Mechanic can repair A321neo due to the same engines. The only one to do that in the United States is AA because they went CFM Leap-X on A321neo to make it commonality with the B737max. In the case of DL PW1000G A321neo made sense for them because they have a huge Fleet of Bombardier CSeries now the A220-300/-100 which has PW1000G
Yeah I was very confused about that too, since before the power plant was announced I was certain they’d go CFM.
Looking deeper into it (and this is based on what I read on forums) the PW has slightly higher thrust/longer maximum continuous thrust time (either or both), which would make sense for their Denver operations, and to operator transcon out of EWR. But aside from that, you’d think they’d be happier with the commonality with the CFM engines, right?
Or at least hold some of a grudge with PW after the 777 grounding, unless they also managed to get a massive discount from them after it
@@ITripReport It’s probably PW saying something like “if our engines cause problems again, we will pay you for whatever operational and reputational damage would be done”
@ITripReport you are correct on that however UA is actually a long-time Pratt and Whitney customer just like Korean air in South Korea. If you want to look Airlines of Asia Pacific some of them have a preferred customer for engine types. example Cathay Pacific Thai Airways Qantas Air New Zealand goes RR GE Philippine Airlines Eva Air All Nippon Airways Asiana PW
Good news, at least UAL avoided the contaminated powdered metal issue on the GTF turbine blades.
I wonder what Alaska is thinking it's going to handle the return of the A321 (via Hawaiian) but with the P&W engines? So much for the economy of commonality.
W
United airlines got the airbus A321neo?
Yeah, you’ve never heard of it? It got delivered around 2 days ago
@@RashadKhanAviation2023 oh wow after seeing this video I checked flightradar24 and saw one. Just one though
First class/business class is the best
why no december 14 😢
United has great crews and agreed the worst catering. I only fly first and only on United, since I live in a hub city, and they try hard for all different aspects, except catering.
8:03 if you want takeoff
What's a semi-inaugural??
... not an inaugural 🤣
I can't wait for Max 10.
A320 neo has wider cabin than 737 max (12.1 ft vs narrower 11.7 on the max)
@@terrygelinas4593okay?
You can't wait for a plane that needed safety exemptions? Lol
No
Max 8 Lion air flight 610
Max 9 Ethiopian airways 320
I totally agree!
Congratulations to United with their A321neo! I hope to fly with this aircraft with them in the upcoming future. I've also got to try Delta's A321neo and American's A321neo (Which is bad, I've heard)
I've flown Lufthansa's A321neo. So not impressed with the European "Business Class."
Same. About Delta’s A321neo, I’d recommend it, but it’s not much different from their generic A321. Haven’t flown with American’s but I can’t imagine it being great.
Good choice however if you ask people from outside of North America from the Asia Pacific region they will actually prefer their own versions. Easy way is Oneworld Alliance CX vs AA A321-251N with the CX version beating the AA version
@@charlab.7838 Ah yes, the European business class which is just 3x3 economy seats with the middle seat blocked-off, at least that what I've experienced on KLM 737s.
@@EpicThe112 You're probably right, but I think almost every other A321neo is better than the ones of AA XD
Ugh the general public boarding a brand new aircraft. Gonna be trashed very soon 😔
First
not a competition
A hard bulkhead is "antiquated" and should be replaced with a soft bulkhead. It just makes sense in current times, so I see it as a benefit especially for those pax sitting directly behind first class. Theres now a little more room for stowage.
Most of of us disagree with that travel F.
Oh. The divider between first seats. Looks dumb
As I'm am banished to AA's services, most of the time, I hope that they follow suit eventually. Unfortunately, they offer the best routes/times for me rn, so I'll continue to endure.
Is it just me or does the new A321 sidewalls look like they copied off BSI 737 sidewalls?
Definitely NOT an ''AVGEEK'', but some ''AVNEERD'' who did not complete his childhood with success. Fed up reading his stupîd comments.
Will make sure all press-contacts of airlines share my opinion. Hope no one will use paypal anymore.
The long hair on that FA is absolutely revolting. One of the many reasons she couldn't make the grades at a premium airline like EK
So frustrating that American gives you nothing in their boring cabins. Ugh!!!
Should be all airbus now tired of boeing
Airbus is the best no question
airbus is better than boeing in some ways. but boeing is also better than airbus in some ways
Those new seats look so uncomfortable especially as skinny as they are at least the first class look a bit more comfortable. But the plane looks really nice.
These new seats are the norm will all airlines aside from Delta. Other airlines that have a better reputation such as JetBlue and Southwest use these seats too
