Enjoyed that a lot, although I'd have liked to hear your thoughts on the concept in the video. I reckon you'll share those elsewhere. Those bumps on that one tab are from me trying to pry that f'er open with a kitchen knife sharpener.... I think the torpedo shelf was from back in the day before he learned those ridges were not cool and changed his designs. I can't remember if I just slotted in the bunch short of the ridge, or scissored it after.
Thanks. I've been in touch with Cody to give him some more detailed comments and nit-picks directly. Big picture, having interchangeable slots for different vitolas is neat, especially for making singles of odd shapes. Stuff that you wouldn't be willing to commit a whole mold to. The self locking mechanism could be a nice feature, not as much for pressing as just to keep the thing together when in use. Makes it easy to handle and move around while in use and I do like that. Just stick it on a bookshelf over night to press in any orientation, without having to worry about balancing weights. The execution of that locking mechanism is a little clunky though in this version.
just the video I needed!! I'm in the UK and trying to return/exchange is pointless given the postage cost. Great video brother 🤝

@@CatharsisCigarsOkay, thank you
Amazing to watch very skilled
Thank you!
Where’d you get them from? I’m looking mainly so I can have some ready when I’m ready to roll torpedoes
Nice! These rolls came out great. I’ve been looking at molds like this on Etsy, you think they are worth it? Great video as always.
I don't think you would have seen one like this on Etsy. As far as I know, there's only this one prototype.
@@CatharsisCigars Ahhh I see, do you like these styles of molds though?
@@Caffeine-Corner I prefer wooden molds myself.
What material was used ? PLA ?
This can motivate me to use my 3d printer.
I'm actually not sure what the material is.
I love microplastics (jk), imagine a mold made of brass or bronze would be cool yk.
Wood. Wood makes the best cigar molds. But I agree, brass would look awesome.
3d printing this would take ages
Yaa
