I continued to be amazed by the fantastic work habits of the Korean ladies! From proofing the dough to preparing all the snacks/ comfort ltems in- house, no frozen anything! The prices from1000-3000KRW are excellent! My only problem, ETTV, is that this shop is located in Daegu. By train & buses more than 2 hours from Seoul center. Yes, we have a ton of snack shops, street food vendors & market selling similar snacks & sandwiches, it's just that this place for me stood out👍👍
I agree. Whenever I see the food carts in my country, i see them lacking in a major way. This is why my country has a reputation for having bad food, despite a lot of it being delicious. There is no major body that ensures there is a standard when it comes to food prep, and the only time we see a food business shut down is when there have been complaints of food poisoning or having found an insect. Heck, just a few years ago someone who bought a bobba dropped dead instantly, his milk tea having been made with cleaning chemicals instead of water. Koreans are such professionals when it comes to food prep, I can only hope one day my country follows suite.

looked ok until it had mayo and the dog was fried. tough hot dog is bad enough.. mayo ruined it. not to mention whatever that other non-mustard thing they put on it was.

Hot dogs are american food, i am american. Hot dogs are ketchup and mustard. Toppings of chili, sauerkraut, cheese, onions, relish, and jalapenos are the norm. Hot dog is supposed to be grilled or boiled. The odd topping here or there, fine. But mayo ruins a hot dog every time. This is korea, that i get, do it your way but just like how we ruin pizza for italians.. to a traditional american, this would ruin a hot dog.
