Hello from Prince Edward Island Can. I have worked on a lot of farms, mostly tilling and planting, but never had any experience with the day to day operation of a dairy’s tasks.Thank you for explaining it so well!😀Take care,Ron
Hi Taylor. Someone who has never farmed would have a better understanding of what goes on in a small dairy farm because of the way you explain all of the details of what you do in your daily chores. Awesome video. One tip never spread manure into the wind.(LOL). You have some cute dimples❤️🐄🚜🍩☕️😉
That ole 1066 looks great in the original patina dress , We still have ours bought new in 1975 all original with 4756 hrs except a chrome stack up top , Great video !
Hey, Y'all! great Video Tay!! Always a blast riding around on the 1066 with you!! The "fresh manure" must have really dried out around the edges because I don't recall it being so solid, no matter where you pulled it from. Your backing up skills with a trailer are really good. I'm impressed! Glad you caught that apple Brent tossed...you know where it would have landed if you missed?! It's great when you hear the power coming out of the tractor under a load!! And we watched the rain flap on the muffler! Your barn cleaner hasn't given you any grief since put in the new parts, has it? Thanks for sharing! Bye Y'all!
Taylor, I love your energy. You obviously know the importance of fertilizer. Cleaning up the spreaders last spring really paid off. Hope the noise you were hearing turns out to be nothing serious. It's great that a sound can alert you and make you want to check everything over. That is what you call experience. Can't wait to see your videos.
Another great stream from the prettiest dairy maid. Glad the new addition to the herd has settled in, she couldn`t have a better person to look after her, keep safe.
i used to drive a 1066 just like yours but with dual wheels -dragging a batwing bushhog in Lexington Tennessee - on Pete Williams farm- he raised hogs and cattle out near south haven school. good times
It's amazing to watch those giant feed trucks when they have to back in a tight space and around corners with the auger out while avoiding power lines and other obstacles.
Finally had a chance to watch, been baling corn fodder here with the nice weather. Your quite the woman spreading with a side slinger and a open station tractor, the side slinger here on goes on a tractor with a cab.
Mornin Taylor. That was a beautiful Holstein. I remember we had a Holstein that was very particular, she was ticklish as all get out. You touched her bag she would kick. For some reason I was able to mild her without her kicking. So, she was my job to milk her. The fresh smell of manure being spread was something else. Of course we were able to spread all year long. Except we couldn't spread in the winter because of the snow. Couldn't get to the fields. But our spreader was rear discharge, and you ended up with manure spatter on you. What fun. Have a good day and God Bless
Raised on a dairy farm my parents bought in 1950 which my father had worked on as a young man. When the farm was purchased, they milked approximately 50 head dairy of Holsteins with young stock dairy replacements and a few Angus beef stock. I sincerely enjoy following your videos, Taylor, as they allow me an opportunity to reminisce. Would like to send you a tee shirt, for your collection. Would you share your preferred size? Thank you for all of your efforts on our behalf!

Nice video, Taylor - great action shots! That's a very nice day you have - makes getting out there and working very enjoyable! You folks keep working safely!! 😀

Boy I'll tell ya Taylor that has to be the one job on the farm that you guy's are happy when it's done and tell Brett to get that hip fixed I had both done and its a quick recovery .
I was born a town -boy, but I have worked on farms in 5 states. One of my first opportunities was my intro to a cattle holding barn with packed manure about a foot deep which had to be removed with a pitch fork, shovel , 8N Ford and a formerly horse drawn manure spreader. It took me all summer 1952, but I became a master at spreading crap.
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another awesome video. Thanks for showing us the cornmeal delivery cool truck, love the shirt. You can't help but love the 1066 one awesome tractor. Manure spreading used to be one of my favourite things to do when i worked on a dairy farm. It's been really warm in the UK today to almost like summer. That smile speaks volumes think you like spreading manure. The true smell of the countryside .Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
I agree Tay. The 66 series International tractors are great tractors. My personal favorite tractors are the IH 86 series tractors. I have driven many different brands and sizes of tractors, new and old but my the 66 & 86 IH models are by far my favorite. Thank you for the great vids Tay. I have watched every one of them!

Hi Taylor and Brent just finished your video I really enjoyed it I always love how you explain everything you do I can listen to you all day long and as always you and Brent and families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Brent saying you got 5th place out of 4 entries without missing a beat is hilarious. I bet hes got good lines for most situations. Something to consider about that field may be needing some nitrogen as if you mixed in some clover or alfalfa lagoons the help repopulate that nitrogen and then balance out for some more protein, to bad you weren't able to enter both samples. The Slinger spreader is just a superior spreader, but I'm highly biased. Soreader manure is such fun, most people think I'm nuts when I say that. In the uk cow cake is delivered via a tipping blower lorry ( lorry tips up and a pipe is attached to our bulk bins and then air is blown into the bin from the lorry and that carries the cake. Love your system as looks quick and I’ve never seen a see through bulk bin in the uk
Taylor - thanks for another great video. You love taking us along and we love coming along with you. I listened carefully as you rode on the tractor and when you were trying to speak we heard you but there was over driving distortion. It more than likely comes from the Db level of the tractor engine being too much for the mic. One rule of thumb is if you need ear protection for your ears it will most likely be too much for the mic. It’s fine when its at idle but high rev distorts it. The sound pressure vibrates the baffle inside of the mic to much that’s where the distortion comes from. So that you’re aware and not think I’m just some know it all Ive been a live sound support Technician since the early eighties. Oh no I just dated myself! 😮 I have much more I could share with you to help you navigate this because as you have already discovered Mic/recording equipment can get costly very fast so if you have a little input you’ll know better what to look for. I could email you at the email listed on this channel if that would help. If you read this let me know I’m happy to help if you so desire.
That 1066 looks good that feller would be the main tractor on any farm worth their salt back in the day ain't nothin wrong with that one there maybe a little tlc but it fired right on up that's all you want
That squeaking noise 33.40 a few drops of used engine oil squirt or brushed in between two piece of metal should stop that noise. If you are worried about wheel bearings, immediately remove dust cap, see condition, fill with gear oil and put it back on.
Hi Taylor, My respect for what you do and the way you both care for your animals, it is good to see. By the way I sometimes wonder if you would raise the cornmeal bin on blocks so the cart fits under it, instead of using a pale ? Anyway good luck in what you are dooing, greetings from the Netherlands.

Hey y'all. Nice hat too.
😅 howdy!
That 1066 looks good that feller would be the main tractor on any farm worth their salt back in the day ain't nothin wrong with that one there maybe a little tlc but it fired right on up that's all you want
Nice Apple 🍎 catch. - Oh I remember the smell of manure 😊 Blessings ❤
Tay, I'm a real soup connoisseur, but I draw the line on the soup you're slinging! Good day & keep up the good work!😅
I'm with you! I think your international 106767 is a handsome tractor; but i still think the farmall super m is a handsome tractor, too
I always enjoyed spreading the manure pile pile in the fall
VERY GOOD VIDEO
I don't know who would say the 66 series was ugly... Probably a JD person. BTW I really like that hat! I gotta get me one of those.
Love the 1066. Love the Kubota. Manure stinks but it's fun to spread.
Taylor how come you don't turn them piles of manure over mix them up. Thanks for your great videos, I love watching them. Keep on farming stay safe.
Gotta be kinda careful with them, all that hay heats up and burns down from the inside. If you dig into it too soon the oxygen could start a fire
Look into a hitch saver. It's a round disc of poly material. Really helped cut down on the noise and saves the drawbar
That squeaking noise 33.40 a few drops of used engine oil squirt or brushed in between two piece of metal should stop that noise. If you are worried about wheel bearings, immediately remove dust cap, see condition, fill with gear oil and put it back on.
Hi Taylor,
My respect for what you do and the way you both care for your animals, it is good to see.
By the way I sometimes wonder if you would raise the cornmeal bin on blocks so the cart fits under it, instead of using a pale ?
Anyway good luck in what you are dooing, greetings from the Netherlands.
