Hi Lester,I’m a farrier from Aus…..I worked for 19 yrs with horse…those 3 beauties would so benefit from a vet check, just to see what’s what…thank you for watering them..grandpa communicates well with you….thank you for hearing him and caring enough to take care of them as there owner obviously doesn’t……
@@heartlandranchcolorado3653I think Lester has enquired with the horses owner sometime ago but he doesn't want your sell even though he's not looking after them
That old grandpa, moving his mouth like that, is relaxing, because he's relieved for the water. He is the leader, so he was tense for a clean water source for his herd So good of you Lester!
Yawning horses are a sign of relief. And it’s true, different ways of raising/having animals for sure. There’s livestock types, there’s nurtured types, sporting types, and there’s living in the wild types. And like you said times are tough. You have no idea how or what the neighbors are going through or not.
So true. So maybe someone needs to find out if owner needs assistance, for the animal’s sake. Has nothing to do with type of owner. You own animals, you are responsible for their care.
Neglect is real... they don't even bother to make sure that they have water is disgusting and cruel. If he loved those horses he would give them to you and Jami or find a good home. 😢
The neighbour that owns the horses is amenable enough to allow Lester and Jami to accommodate the horses basic needs without needing permission. That in itself is not the norm and as followers, we don't need to screw that up with personal opinions.
@ImaSurvivorSantuary I never want to cause issues in the comment section, with our community members and certainly not for you or Jami and that last point really goes without saying. I don’t know how to not feel that I have an opinion though and if you feel it wiser that I don’t voice them, even if it’s really isn’t vocal, lol, it is visible and I would honestly like to hear or read it, lol (Phew, things can get confusing!) your thoughts. Appreciated if you can reply as I just need clarification. Again, not trying in any way to be disruptive - just need clarity on what you want because I always want to be respectful to you folks and I can’t be if I am breaking the rules….. Much Thanks 💕☺️

Yes I agree, horses, when loved need good nutritious feed, vet, farrier and dental care. I had four horses and they cost me a small fortune, but I loved them and cared for them well.
Those poor horses have survived for years on their own but it sure is nice to have some kindness from you and Jami. They are beautiful horses. Be safe ❤😊❤.

@@amyfitch3005lol I made a big comment about that. Wild means “ without borders (fences). “ You take away their ability TO take care of themselves that nature provides. They seek it out.

Free is one thing but in a fenced in area isn’t free to find a pond if theirs dries up! I agree IF wild and can roam but this is irresponsible owner and thank god Jami and Lester give them water

Spoiled?!? Like a banana, with bruises? 😆. Whatever side of the ‘care’ fence you stand on, I believe these comments come from honest concern by caring individuals who yes, maybe want to see or think all *fenced and kept,* not wild animals are kept up to Lester and Jami’s standards. Indeed, that may not be the case but, how much better a world it would be, if everyone cared and were able to give their *kept and fenced* animals the abundance of love that this couple can and does. Wild horses can’t even be compared to kept horses. Their lifestyle is totally different to one another. Wild horses do survive and many do quite well, but it’s a wild existence, it’s harsh, it’s hard, especially on our Canadian wild horses during the winters when most tend to look skinny, frail and on their last days, but come spring, when nature comes to life, so again do our wild horses that made it through winter - those horses gladly forfeit vet care, farrier care, proper nutrition, a convenient fresh water supply to truly run free, with no borders, no fences and no human interaction or intervention. They are very proud beautiful creatures who I would never want to take from them their natural way of life, no matter how harsh or shortened a life span it will give them in years. When you become an animal *owner* though, you take home not just that animal, but the responsibilities for proper care because that animal is reliant on you and your care, unlike that of a wild animal. That to me means, no rotting corpse just left for nature take care of - not once, but horse remains were discovered by Lester and Jami much earlier, or green, slim filled covered putrid water and little to no food available and I’m putting aside a vet or farrier visit at all. If you can’t provide basic care, to a animal who is dependent on you, you are not being a responsible owner - and stating in no way means Lester and Jami have spoiled me….
You can tell a bunch about a person by the way they treat a animal. By loving all animals not just their own makes you big hearted people, thank you from all of us who can't have them because we know we wouldn't be able to keep them right.
