Hope everything gets better for you! I can't seem to do anything when I'm depressed so doing anything even small things is great even if it has nothing to do with your hobbies.

You're definitely getting my dollar if it'll help benefit these mods. I've been longing to see more. I once found a beautiful and faithful remaster of Longest and Derelict from a Halo 3 Combat Evolved mod, but they were taken down and I only have a few screenshots of Longest. I find it sad to see these great mods disappearing from underneath us and nobody ever talks about it. So I'm going to do my part in helping these mods get back on Steam so myself and others can get a peace of mind.

I wonder why your depressed. I want to help you feel better if possible. Because I were depressed for years, had social anxiety, anxiety, fears. Im no longer depressed, no more social anxiety, anxiety, and fears. Im freeee.

Hey, man, I grew up waiting on Black Mesa for so long, I can remember when it was called Black Mesa Source. If I can wait THAT long, I can wait for this.
Take time for yourself. Depression is no joke. Times may be hard but you got this. I'm sure other people will understand that the mod can be put on hold etc. Also burnout is never fun and passion can be hard to find again. Hope all goes well and stay safe. 😊

You've been working excruciatingly hard on this project (obvious from the INSANE AMOUNT OF DETAILS in the mission Keyes), so I'd understand you being burnt out, so take your time, you not only deserve it but its very much needed, the community isn't going anywhere and neither is your project, you of course know this already, but I know reassurance can go a long way, we're rooting for ya no matter how long the project ends up taking!
Your health *always* comes first, not matter what anyone else says (especially bosses and particular kinds of 'fans').
You first, then the mod when you feel like it :)

I can only imagine the amount of time and effort goes into making full campaign missions. I really enjoyed the one that's out already. As much as I'd love the idea of playing the whole ce in halo 3's engine, its not realistic for one person to complete it in a short time. Take care of yourself!
The most important asset on the battlefield is yourself spartan. Take as much time as you need.

I hope you take your time to get better. I understand the feeling, I worked myself so hard on battle for ontario mod on sleepless nights and it hurt my mental health alot. I know the pain of that and must say if you rush yourself to finish H3:CE, it will only will hurt your mental health. Although it may take a while to finish, Once it does get done, people will come back and be happy to see the mod back. I promise. When I was working on five nights at chicas party world for 3 years. I never thought people would return. but they did. You have alot of hype and word will spread. So please take your time on it and make sure to focus on your well being above all else!

I really hope things begin to feel better for you. I've battled depression for a long time and only begun being medicated for it a few years ago. Sometimes thibgs can get bad and our thinking can become really bad, but not all days are like that. You have a lot of people who care about you and are willing to support you. There is nothing wrong with taking a bit of time off to spend time with yourself and do some healing, I hope things will begin to get better soon and you can go back to feeling like your regular self ❤

I played your Halo 3 modded Flood mission with CE weapons, it's FIRE 10/10 gameplay.
Take your time, we can see that you are very passionate about your work, just dont get too burnt out alright.
You are an amazing, talented person and burn out, especially in the capacity in which you're creating something large and technical on your own is completely understandable. I think we all would rather you be healthy and happy than stressing over a creative endeavor to the point of depression so you take as much time as you need, please. We came to your channel because of your creative work but I am certain we value you as a person above all else. Be safe, be happy and when YOU'RE ready, we can revisit the mod as a community
As someone who works on another long-term project, I can agree sacrificing mental health and free time is not worth it - it's something I wish I told my younger self who sacrificed sleep, time, mental health, and even physical health on a project.

I understand how you feel. I have a similarly large project, I'm also remastering a game in a new engine myself. It can be pretty tough working on it on your own. Props for the work you've already done, I still have yet to make something presentable, I've re-written the basic map loading scripts so many times now and still have only a basic working prototype.
Going through a similar feeling with my podcasting. Just take time to rest. Continue when you're ready. You're doing an amazing project for Halo fans.

I used to mod Halo CE extensively back when the PC port first came out using HHT, HMT, and Sparkedit. Im not sure how it's done nowadays, but I'm sure it's still just as time consuming as it was then. I remember it being pretty frustrating too when things just weren't working. If I wasn't broke as a joke I'd absolutely (and probably will) send you a donation for this project. It looks superb. Take your time and be well, CE isn't going anywhere :)

Don’t worry about it. We’ll be here for your mods whenever they’re done. You take all of the time you need. Group therapy really helped me a year ago when I was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts. That could really help you too if your insurance can cover it. Take your time and do things for you! :)
