Hey brother it’s taking me about 6 months to finally have the leather wrap around. The sides is getting there very nicely but the top and bottom taking a bit longer. But it’s all coming together just nicely. Enjoy that beautiful Bible. Brother. Blessings

Would like it if it came in red letter, but still looks nice. Wish I could afford one.

Hey there. I am going back and forth on this Bible and a premium with 36 gsm European paper. Is there much of a difference in ghosting?
The 36gsm will have less ghosting, but this one is line matched and isn’t bad at all!
Schuyler Bibles are now making fantastic premium Bibles, and the full yapp Quentels are especially nice. They sell out fast, or at least they did last year. They really are worth it, so if anyone is looking for a great Bible, this is it. Don't miss out.

Schuyler is king in ESV. Cambridge is great in KJV especially if you dig the classic look. My favorite is ESV. The KJV wears me down with the archaic language. That and my Church uses ESV

The color on that bible looks like slate to me but that maybe due to the fact that I'm slightly color blind.
It really depends on the lighting. It is more gray than black for sure
my one wish would be darker font like the Cambridge Concord. I've tried falling in love with the KJV again but the ESV has me.
It could be a little darker, I agree but not sure how the ghosting would be.
@@RuralBibleReviews the ghosting in a Concord isn't bad and they aren't line matched, with line matching I doubt there'd be an issue. I don't know why they don't to be honest. Maybe one day.

I’m new to the premium Bible scene but I want a daily reader. I typically read sitting in the living room chair. Which size do you feel would be most appropriate for this? Thanks!
@@orangemanbad well, that depends. The PSQ has an 8 point font but it’s very readable. This one has an 11 point. If you want to have it sit in your lap while reading, then this one. If you hold it, the PSQ
@@orangemanbad counting the full yapp, it’s 10 1/2 inches tall, 7 inches across, and 1 1/2 inches thick

Thanks for this awesome review, very very informative about full yapp! I'm contemplating a Schuyler ESV Quentel with Goatskin, but am contemplating between regular and full yapp version. What do you think? I'm just a bit worried that over time full yapp becomes like an old tired skin on a Bible? (Plus full yapp is an extra USD$20-30 and I just want to be sure...) Thanks!
This is my first full yapp and I love it. The leather on the Schuylers is thick enough that I think they will stand the rest of time.

@@BibleLovingLutheran The happy yappy? In all seriousness, yeah, took initial bit of getting used to, but it feels good to actually feel the yapp enclosing on the guilding everytime I pick up the Bible. Been using everyday since I got it, it's bigger and heavier than I thought, but very flexible.
