Can you share any tips to quickly adapt to the time zone when traveling? Because I'm a person who has trouble sleeping, when I move to a faraway country, I can't sleep 😢
It took us a few days to get used to the time difference, but one thing that helped us was to set our clocks to the time in the new country before we left our country. Luckily for us, it was almost exactly 12 hours difference. So we just flipped our schedule for a day or two at home before leaving. Hope this helps!

We love Da Nang! I don't know if we even made it to a night market when we were there. 🤔 That vegan bahn mi looked delicious. We also try to eat a least one or two vegetarian/vegan meals per week. Ashley should have totally bought the green glasses! They looked good. 😎

Hi Ashley, Since you don’t like pate, you can ask the vendor not to spread it on. I don’t like it either so I always order bánh mì without pate. In fact, bánh mì can be ordered according to your taste.
That’s a great tip! We usually have found that some varieties don’t include the pate, and I try to order those. The bread and veggies are always so delicious! 😋 I’m hungry just thinking about it right now!
A lot of banh mi do have pate, but they are mostly made fresh when you order so it’s quite easy to avoid. We’ve tried it a few times throughout our visits, and if done well, in the right proportions, it’s nice, but it’s not our favorite. 😅

Haha, I suppose you could call it a job related accident. We were on our way out to film and there was just a huge part of the sidewalk that opened up into a drainage area… it was dark and unmarked. We didn’t fortunately need any medical care as I had an Ashley and she expertly patched me up, but it could have been so much worse. I’m ok now, but it definitely took me out for a bit. Thanks for being concerned! ☺️
How do you two stick to your budget? My wife and I are so bad when it comes to financial discipline! When we went to Hawaii, 14 years ago, to celebrate our 15 years of marriage anniversary, we spent to our last …dollar! We didn’t even have any petty cash to tip on the last day. So embarrassed 😞! It’s something we definitely need to improve.
Haha, we are good sometimes and terrible sometimes. It really just depends. Some of it comes from knowing that going over budget ends our adventure sooner, so that is a pretty big motivator. We use a budget tracking app called TravelSpend which allows us to stay on track and see where we spend our money. Most of it is just us kind of keeping checks on one another, but also knowing that if we want to spend a little more, and it makes us happy, let’s just live life, cause there may be no tomorrow. So we just do our best.

I would avoid the fruit juice shops stalls because the water they use is faucet water which is untreated. I got really sick and diarrhea 😢
