Etf is mutual funds which are listed and traded in the stock market and you require demat and trading account to buy or sell the etf . If you want to buy the index mutual funds through AMC then there are direct and regular mutual funds available.if you are buying on your own you can go for direct plans and if you are investing through a distributor then they will give you regular plans

Etf me direct and regular nehi hota.
Demat account chahiye hota hai etf kharidne ke liye, etf is like share. Share ke tarah hi isko kharida and becha jata hai.

Etf are more liquid than Mutual Funds....just purchase it like any Share from Demat account ....its very simple and the control is in your hand ....
