I don't understand why these guys always pick stocks that are hugely overvalued and there is a little to add to the growth .. They just pick stocks and forget the valuations part. There are other matrices to be taken into account as well

It depends largely on one's financial situation. Another point to note is that - taxes work differently for SIP and lumpsum.
Yes I know about taxes - STCG or LTCG taxes are calculated on per SIP or per lumpsum
