It's our first day in Hoi An, Vietnam and we're blown away by how beautiful it is here! Join us for a full day of adventure, from visiting the Hoi An morning market to going on a crazy basket boat ride down the Thu Bon River. I spent 5 nights in Hoi An and it was still not enough time. It wasn't so much that we didn't see what we wanted to see, but we just wanted to eat the delicious food and soak up the atmosphere some more.
I took a solo trip for a month in December 2022 and travelled to Hanoi, sapa, Ha giang loop, lan ha & ha long bay, ninh binh, phong nha, Da nang, Hoi An and Saigon. I stayed in Hoi An for 4 days and it was my favourite city in Vietnam! I wish i stayed in Hoi An longer. The nightlife in Hoi An is beautiful!

My favourite place in the world, Hoi an at night is probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen

South east Asia is an amazing region. The people, the landscape, the cultures and tradition. It is easy to see why it is such a popular tourist destination.
Srilanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, CAMBODIA, Laos, Philippines.
Not only Danang and Hoian city’re so beatiful in the middle of Vietnam, but also Hue city’s so amazing with quiet scenery, rich cultural history, delicious food and very kind people,… The price is also quite cheap !

Vietnamese people proud of Vietnamese cuisine so they combine travel with cook the Vietnamese foods. A perfect day with this combination.
For me Hoi An is a must because of the lantern festival at.night. You both seem so happy to be here. Yum meat / fish market. The round basket boats look like so much fun. Loved watching the boat show. Had a great time watching you both cook in the cooking class and then eat it. Yes Flora Note ment that rooftop bar. Amazing views came from this rooftop. 1 Word Outstanding
You can get a 90 day tourist e-visa now. But more importantly-you should have insurance that covers you in Vietnam and pays the hospital IMMEDIATELY!! No insurance or cash to pay for operation-no treatment. Most people travelling to here never think about this, but if you get dengue, typhoid, or in an accident (some of the most dangerous roads in the world here) the hospitals will do no more than receive you until a down-payment/payment has been made. They just push your bed into the hall and wait for money or.....Also, you must have a Vietnamese driver license and motorbike insurance if you want to drive a motorbike. Have a motobike accident and injure a Vietnamese with no Vietnamese license and no moto insurance- ever watch 'Locked-up-Abroad? Chain your money to yourself, trust no one, carry a small bottle of alcohol for bites, beware of people wanting to help you. Be ready to be scammed, lied to, extorted, and robbed at any time. Do not be naive reading about Vietnam being heaven-on-Earth! Living here 22 years now. FYI.

Why do you live there for 22 years if it's as bad as you say? You should have left within the year if it was that terrible, yet you remain for a reason when there are other SE Asian countries you can choose from.

Beautiful video. I lived in Vietnam for awhile and have been to this area a couple of times. It is so nice. My plan is to retire in Thailand when my daughter goes to college in four years, but you have reminded me that Vietnam is an excellent Plan B.
you can go back and forth to visit both places. Fly tickets ain't that bad either. Hope ya enjoy coming back there for a visit.

Check out the one they did when they were up north last year. It's really awesome, too. Also check out "Adventures of A+K" who came to Vietnam as their first Asian country and they said it exceeded their expectations (their videos are more adventurous as they went caving and did the Ha Giang Loop).

I really love the shots of the green rice fields from your hotel room and drone shots from above. So beautiful! Hoi An has done a great job building up it's tourist industry, for sure. There's a ton of stuff left to do so you definitely should come back. You should also check out Da Lat and Sa Pa (do the glass bridge there as I've yet to see a Western vlogger show it). Many people enjoy trekking with the locals. Also do the Ha Giang Loop and stay at Ba Be Lake.

Another wonderful share....my favorite is the opening when Note brings out tea to Flora😊. Also, thank you Flora for taking the glasses off when talking on the scooter and walking. I personally think bloggers wearing glasses whe they talk is too isolating. The way to the soul is thru the eyes....😂. Your. The boat activity seems fun. The rice field is marvelous so peaceful. The purpose of a vacation is to come back refresh not hitting as many destinations.
The early morning view is so beautiful, waking up is light.

You might want to check out Da Lat, too. If you're adventurous, then do the canyoning there or caving in Phong Nha and the Ha Giang Loop.
Yeah you must add Hoi An, it's really near to Danang and easy to travel.

Never been in Ha Noi, but explored many other places in Vietnam. It’s a very beautiful country with friendly people and lot’s of delicious food 👌💯

17:48 the reason for this is because Hoi An is more beautiful at night when hundreds of lanterns are lit which is a significant thing of this place. Another reason is the weather become cooler and no more sunny which harm your skin 😅. I know you guy have left Hoi An but i hope you guy already visited Ấn Tượng Hội An park which have Ký Ức Hội An show,it's famous. Highly recommend Da Nang international firework festival which is going to be held next month,the price is expensive but worth it

We moved to Hoi an a few years and our house is facing these rice fields in fact I saw our house briefly in you video! We moved here from the U.S and never want to go back! Hoi an is a beautiful place with fantastic people and culture.

As a Vietnamese, I find "Hoi An past memory" show in the evening quite interesting, unique and nostalgic for visitors to understand better traditional culture of Hoi An. Hoai river ("Hoai" also means nostalgia) was amazing at night but I prefer Hoi An in the daylight more, looking at confetti flowers along the river brings peace and calm to your mind

Nice video.. That rice field is my child hood view and daily life in Baria Vung Tau, Vietnam. Here in the state, our lawn is nothing compare to the tall green rice field.
