Very interesting. It's nice to know what a car offers so it can be compared to other cars. The way cars are going I will have to borrow a teenager to explain how they work. Thanks Derek Des
Thanks for the video Derek. I really enjoy the more detailed videos looking at vehicle systems. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea. The ID light is a very simple and clever idea.
Appreciate the review. I''m planning to buy an ID4. But I think I'll leave the ID light off except for turns and take control functions. Too many different light combinations. I'll probably have an accident trying to figure out what the light is telling me.
Whilst I wait for my ID3 Max, I wonder, I wonder, can you have different volume levels for the radio/Spotify and the sat nav? Can you completely mute the sat nav but still play the radio?? All the best.
and that light, and the rest of the ambient lighting in the car, will turn red when the vehicle is so low on battery that it goes into "Only Maneuvering Possible" mode
I say this with love and kindness. The lip smack is tough to hear over and over. I do appreciate the topic and your help. I love my ID.4.
Noted Bryan. I'll work on it.
Cool features ! That makes the driving experience exciting 👍 thank you.
Glad you liked it Johny. Thanks for the comment

Thanks Des. I'm not far off that myself at the moment
Top job Derek
Yea I found the ID light one of the great features on VW ID.s. top job 👏
Thanks Jim. Only the ID lovers will see value in this one
Nice overview of ID light sequences.
Glad you liked it and thanks for leaving a comment

With them all on it's a lot in fairness so the ability to turn them off is good. Glad you enjoyed video
Very interesting, thanks for going to the trouble.
Thanks for the comment. Obviously a very niche video but hopefully some will find value with it
Good day to all!
Tell me, if I broke the headlight and bought a new one, do I need to prescribe it somehow? Install programmatically?
I think it should work automatically but please talk to your local VW dealer
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Tenks!
Does this light work in the ID3 life pro performance In my car it's doesn't do anything have left into VW to check but they find no fault
And activated in the dash?
how lame and unnecessary this idea is. get a life. just go get drunk with the other irish
Thanks Vlad. Actually a very popular video but I appreciate your stereotypical comment about the Irish. Have a great day
Thanks Derek! ID Light has been on the market for 2 years and you’re the first to do it justice! Much appreciated
Appreciate the comment Shamut. It's a very niche video but hopefully some will find value with it

Thanks for the comment Richard. If I recall correctly, yes. The volume is broken down into media, sat nav, notifications but you would need to confirm
and that light, and the rest of the ambient lighting in the car, will turn red when the vehicle is so low on battery that it goes into "Only Maneuvering Possible" mode
I didn't try that!
Great video. Really love all the content on the IDs. Hope to hear about our 2.4 update soon from the dealers.
Thanks Eve, glad you enjoyed it and good luck with the update on the update
Hi Derek. How software updates come to ID4? Over the air or you have to go to dealer?
Thanks
Thanks for the question Yuriy, to my knowledge you need to go to your dealer for 2.4 and after that it will be able to be updated OTA (Over The Air)
Great video. Thanks!
Glad you liked it Jose Pablo. It won't be for everyone
he is barely talking. why do this video?
Sorry you feel this way. Maybe turning up your volume will help? Thankfully over 18,600 people have watched it and 96.5% have liked it.
