All the next Gen needs is bigger battery with faster charging and better cameras. Other than that the phone is perfect. The screen size when closed is perfect, everyone cries about it but it feels great in the hand
I hear you! I've had mine for a similar amount of time, and I'm really impressed so far. It's been great for multitasking and gaming. Definitely worth every penny! Glad to hear you're enjoying yours too!
Yo Josh, thanks for the review, man. I appreciate your thoughts, but... Whyyyyyyy are we all so hung up on the size of the outer screen? You said it yourself, it's perfect for one-handed use. That's part of its purpose! Why can't we respect the manufacturer's vision for how people will use this device? They want you to unfold it as much as possible to enjoy the inner screen, and the outer screen can be used like a regular phone. Why can't we see that? If you want a wider screen, that's what the S24 Ultra is for. And the other foldables out there already have bigger screens to meet that need. Can we please have options?! By forcing Samsung to do this, we're taking away their creative vision. Would we dare tell a painter to change how they draw on their canvas? Of course not! That would be insulting to their artistry and their vision of what they want us to see in their work. If you don't like it, you can look at another painting or check out a different artist's work.
Exactly. All the tech guys speak on how it’s too small. When it’s designed to be easily used with one hand.. then they say they rather have wide fold phone and that they don’t have to open the device really.. well just stick to using a candy bar phone. Samsungs design is perfect..
I see where you're coming from, but as an owner of 3 different galaxy folds I would like to see a wider front screen. Not even because I want the front screen to more usable, but because I like the more square shape on the internal screen that other foldables have. Having played with a one plus open, the square aspect ratio feels great. Better for multitasking also. I would have probably went with the one plus or pixel 9 fold if it wasn't for Samsungs software and ecosystem. No android manufacturer in the US comes close to Samsung in those regards.
@dylanx13x92 Understood. I've had the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now using the 4th .(kept the ZF3 as a back up as by then I knew that foldables are the devices that I would like to use going forward, although I would like an S24 Ultra as well as I never experienced a Galaxy slab before.) The true solution is for Samsung to just put out two variants out together to satisfy the masses. The current iteration, and the other the size of the Ultra's screen. But don't know how possible that is given the cost which think they can afford to do given their capital strength, because you're right about one thing, no company besides Apple can match their ecosystem right now as it is the best in the Android world.
I'm loving the width of the phone is, as well. My favorite part is that it is slim enough to fit into my cup holder in my car and I don't need a mount!
4:40 i recommend you be specific at times like this, in the sea of superficial reviews you describing what you do exactly on your phone will stand you out from the crowd; video editing main screen on standby, twitter and youtube and tubemate as pop-ups, clipboard copying from youtube to tubemate for video downloading, music like spotify or soundcloud playing in the background with dual audio simultaneously to 2 connected bluetooth devices, maybe also a connected bluetooth keyboard to type your notes into another pop-up window of google keep, etc. i haven't even talk about split-screening and s-pen related tasks there's a lot of thing you can elaborate and analyze to assess the phone performance in details other than just -" it's smooth"-
Great video. I traded in my Z Fold 5 for the 6 and have no regrets. Samsung offers incredible preorder deals. I got the Fold 6, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Buds 3 Pro for around $$800 after the trade in and other discounts. I pickee up the crafted black color. A lot people were dissatisfied with the carbon fiber appearance on the crafted black model, but I think it looks amazing. One of my favorite slept on features is when the phone has auto-rotate turned off, and you turn the phone sideways, theres a little icon that pops up in the corner to rotate the screen. It's subtle, but it makes a difference for me. Also, the AI comes into play more than you would think. There are the obvious AI features like text assist and sketch to image, but it's actually deeply embedded in the phone. It uses AI to learn your preferences, manage power, and make suggestions. It's not something that you typically notice, unless you knew it was happening.
I Try to do a trade in but how does a trade in work? And says my state is not available, can you guide me on this I'm trying to trade in my galaxy s24 ultra to this New ZFold 6
Only crazy thing to me is that videos are not entirely fullscreen i do understand the aspect ration thing but still its like having a slab phone phone view in portrait mode
I loved my Z Fold 3 but I'll likely never go back to a Fold model. None of my speakers are working now, I have a huge crease now down the center, a burned out pixel and for some reason, takes forever to get off of the boot screen after restarting. I loved the size but after spending an additonal $100 in screen savers just to pull the last one off due to bubbling, I'm done. I went back to the standard with the S24.
I had my Z fold 6 for a month now and its been amazing I enjoy using it everyday and actually I use it all day the battery been great I don't have to charge it til like around 10:30 pm sometimes even later and thats using all day so yea a very enjoyable phone its like walking around with my phone and tablet in my pocket all day lol and although I keep a case on it with a Spen holder it would be nice to just have it Spen slot in the phone itself anyway very enjoyable phone best $$$ I spent on a phone.
I'm watching this on my zf6. I'm coming from the iPhone, and I love it. And yes, .Samsung kills apple with pre-order deals. Also, have the galaxy watch ultra and liking the gemini integration.
My only two issues with the current fold is the camera and the screen real estate out outside and in if they fix those two things, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat
That's a weird issue. The only thing I could imagine would cause that, is some kind of dust or particles made their way into the hinge mechanism. Hopefully an easy fix if you decide to go that route
@@dylanx13x92 i mean I did drop it one time while it was open with a decent case on it. I honestly don't remember if it was ever fully flat before that, but that's the only thing I can maybe think of.
I feel you on that, but I think that's the way most manufacturers are headed with phones now. No real way around it other than an extremely bulky case. But who would want that? 😂
Unless they learn some kind of magic you don't want really fast charging on any phone. Yes it's cool but it kills the life of your battery. This is why the longevity of this device is projected to be longer then all the other fold fast charging phones.
I am torn on this phone. When I open it I want to use it for business. This would be my work phone and I like when I open it for an email I get this huge display.

It's a great device👍
Maybe when it is broke because that will happen

Using the Google Keyboard (Gboard) from PlayStore makes typing on the front screen much easier

I'm not sold on the folds. The crease in the middle messes with my ocd for flat screens. They need to solve that problem, especially for the money.
Still my Favorite Fold and works very solid for ”fun” phone but Camera still lacking so nothing I could use as daily. But for a Fold it’s the King.😀
What app do u use for video editing?
