i have been watching your videos for a while now and i just want to say that they are great and i didn't think you would reply but it has made my day a whole lot better and thank you@@SamMartinPeakPerformance
Sam… I’ve been doing journaling for 8+ months and i havnt thought of it just until now. I was down after a break up and I thought being “angry” and “not having emotion” as the new mindset but that’s just going to break me more and the mindset of having fun and working hard is the new mindset and now I know what journaling is about as it will be used to track what positives I’ve done in the past week or so.👊🏼
Never thoght about in this way, i really think that the self efficacy should be mentioned more to people in general just like how everyone has talked and heard about confidence, especially with how self efficacy mostly comes from within you it can really help people grown and improve in any field they are in.Thank you for this video 💪
General intelligence on the pitch,as I am always finding myself making humiliating mistakes whenever I'm hit with the randomness of the game that anything can happen, and always making mistakes as I have not a clue on what to do,but I always try my best to learn from my mistakes, though failure seems to have cursed me,I'm never giving up. It'll be very helpful if you have any tips on this struggle of mine?
Personally, I'm kinda missing the constructive criticism I think that should be a common problem with other viewers, looking forward to seeing others' responses
@@vaggelis_s my best suggestion to you is to ask the people around you how you have performed. You can say that they needn't sugar-coat anything, and go harder on you on their feedback of your performance. The second thing is that you can try to revise or re-imagine your performance and be your own coach,if you can't get that criticism from others, you *have* to give it to yourself. But really do consider the first suggestion, the quality of feedback from others is very usually higher and more precise. Goodluck!
Like it Sam! From experience, personal & professional, for sure SE is the ultimate destination in anything we do. I recently read Prof Ian Robertsons 2021 book on Confidence. Excellent read that it was, SE will consistently out perform confidence.
Thanks for the constant reliable information. As an aspiring footballer I find that your tips essential for me to be above the level of everyone else. You are doing some great work mate.
You Sam I have a match tomorrow but in the friendly we lost and now I am not confident that we can beat the team in the real tournament tomorrow what do you think I should do and in the friendly I played bad
It's completely normal to feel a bit uncertain after a tough match. Focus on what you can control, use the experience as a learning opportunity, and remember that each game is unique - believe in yourself and your team's abilities for the upcoming game!
Never get Confidence mixed with Ego. Rely of self efficacy and self discipline. Ego and over estimation of ability can be deadly.

If you practice something a million times, you'll be a lot more confident, the answer is to try hard not to act hard.
Absolutely 👍
who do you think is better ronaldo or messi
Messi the greatest 'talent' ever. Ronaldo the greatest 'product' ever. One was born, one was made
I knew confidence is temporary
Confidence is the biggest lie in sport
