Well... Clearly Archers are far weaker than crossbow men... Yeah
+Alejandro Matos Anguis Crossbowmen are pretty much the best counter to a heavily armored mounted unit such as the knight. Crossbows are very powerful and perfect for penetrating plate armor.
TheRunningComedian Yeah, after playing for several years I got to the conclusion that using corossbowmen for defense and arab archers for attack are the most efficient things to do with range unites.

SO... in my dream I saw one thousand skinny knights and five thousand fat archers. The knights ate that archers, but remained skinny.

They are supposed to auto attack when they dont have any orders and enemies are close. But maybe it doesn't work when there is so many of them.

This was more like 1000 Knights vs 2500/3000 Archers becouse part of them don't attack till other part die so this isn't good Attempt for 1000 vs 5000 :/
That's because the horses were not in range of those archers
i really thinked that archers will smash these knights
