Did anyone else initially have hope for Tony B? Or was I just too optimistic? Hope you enjoy the video! Have a great day! Edit: Also, sorry about the yellow text at the beginning. Don't know what was going through my head when I chose that color. Hope it doesn't detract from the rest of the video too much.
Yes, I fell for it completely. The writers pulled off this amazing trick where they got me to ignore what I saw, heard and knew about Blundetto. I just had blind faith in him despite his past and glaring matters of fact that I overlooked like associating with known felons. I feel as though Blundetto's arc was some kind of test to see how well you can read a person. It wasn't so obvious at first, but you have to be at the very least a 'peculiar duck' to only search for love in prison. If you read the situation for what it was well then yeah Tony B's GF might have a psychotic breakdown here and there.
I like steve buscemi as an actor and he definitely seems more like a sicilian civilian than a calabrese criminal. It's a good arc, tony s realizes he can't get past his mistakes (including, his associations- which though profitable, cause him to neglect and ruin people he had come to honor), tony b realizes that he can't readjust into a world that has since taken so much from him- his happiness and his childrens happiness since expired, even when he's at the precipice of making things right. And his closest friend, who made no reference to tony b in series prior, lives as the man who killed him. The life that consumes all to survive.
Seeing Paulie act and speak in reverence of Tony makes him extremely uncomfortable, so much so that he even becomes violent, because he knows just how little he deserves the respect and admiration.
i know for a lot of people season 5 is a bit of a low point for the sopranos but it is probably my favourite season. tony b is a great character and the NY storyline with new characters like feech etc made for some amazing character development moments for tony
An interesting moment is when tony soprano tells tony b that "it's hard seeing him like this" when he sees him working while wearing his laundry suit. It's great because it emphasizes tony sopranos hypocrisy: so much talk about hard working italians only to consider honorable honest work to be undignified.
The moral of The Sopranos is that we, as humans, have the capacity to put away all our strife, uncertainties, and fragility, as long as we can join hands with one another and eat at Roy Roger's.
Yes, that is definitely another scene I have a hard time revisiting. For me, the editing of Tony B's final scene really makes it so striking to me. Just the constant reminders of what Tony Soprano did staring back at him. So unsettling.
@@LavenderRex7705I totally get why this one hurts to watch. Another one that’s kinda hard to watch is Christopher’s death especially since I love his character and comfortably numb
@@josephst.george7841yeah but Chris was gonna die regardless, his lungs were filling up with blood, dude couldn't even move, and you can hear him struggling to breathe. Not only that but he has so many chances at that point that it's hard to feel bad anymore
Great video! Tony B's story is pretty sad. He had a genuine chance at a normal, happy life and he flushed it down the toilet. But I think he was a ticking time bomb regardless. Even Tony S seems to realize this in his subconscious, when in a dream someone says 'there's something bugsy about him'. That life attracts maladjusted, violent people.
Great Video! There is something to the way we were introduced to Tony B by surprising his cousin out of nowhere(I swear there wasn't an entrance or exit) and how he died on the porch. Never surprise Tony Soprano; the black church reverends father dropped dead and so did Tony B.
0:02 Your use of bright yellow text against a such a white background is such an eyesore and is borderline unreadable as a result. There's no way you looked at that and thought to yourself "Yeah, this is okay", so perhaps this is just an editing mistake? Regardless, I think we would all benefit if you never did that again. Good video otherwise 👍

"the coldest moment in The Sopranos" *shows a pic of Pine Barrens*
this Lavender Rex guy is more creative than Shpeelberg
Thank you Max Payne
He's also done law and order the SUV
The pearl harbour edit was so funny
Word to the wise...
That animal blundetto was my favourite character the first time I watched it. “Because I’m the boss, that’s why”
Seeing Paulie act and speak in reverence of Tony makes him extremely uncomfortable, so much so that he even becomes violent, because he knows just how little he deserves the respect and admiration.
Great way of describing it! Tony really hates being confronted by his and his mob's complete ignorance toward their violent actions.
Peepsh?! Thats a fuckin nicknamesh, family name is peperoni
It's what he wanted on his tombstone..
Fuckin Jason and his dislexia
ehh the kid Jason, he's dyslexic

The idea is so foreign to him I guess.
The coldest moment was in Pine Barrens when Paulie lost his shoe.
Your videos are gold mate. Only wish they were longer
Amazing video. This is the best sopranos vid ive come across in a while
I'm glad people enjoy what I have to say so much! Glad my words can resonate with so many people.

Nice analysis and editing
That paulie "word to the wise" edit was fucking funny
Great watch man
There is no honor in this comment. Thanks for the insights.
Awesome job, I’ve seen some clips of this a while ago
lmao that dissolve where Blundetto remembers Paulie telling him to remember Pearl Harbour

Nah it’s Adriana’s death IMO. That’s the only death in the show that almost makes me sick to see it. That being said this is a great video

When Phil picks his brother up from pre-school? 😂😂
This is the most funnily edited video of yours i've seen.
The house he’s hiding in isn’t dissimilar to the one from the dreams with the creepy Livia ghost
bro you spitted

George Washington.
Thank god you didn't mean this in a """sigma""" way. How is it that the characters people revere as "sigmas" are consistently the absolute worst?
Sigma posting was always ironic, it's how it started in 2021
Yea how he has twins while in prison is a good question. You think he used his connections to have some private time with his wife?
It's a little more convoluted. Tony B had to deliver a package to Tony Soprano in order for the twins to happen.
