I discovered this song in the album “Give me Strength, The ‘74/‘75 Recordings”. And I love it ever since, it has such an impact in my life and in my soul, that impact that only Mr Eric Clapton gives, thank you for all ❤🎸

Another little gem on that album was "Someone Like You" which was new to me...I hate that they didn't include the extended version of "I Shot The Sheriff" which is more amazing than the single

Every time I hear one of your 'Unplugged' songs I think of my dad. It was his kind of music. Born and lived in US, West Virginia the Appalachian coalfields. He passed away, in June 1994. (cancer) Going through the emotions of seeing a loved one and knowing they have to leave is a heart breaker. (I'm 72 now). Love and blessings.

I just have to catch a glimpse of this man and I smile. I love the acoustic guitar sound (yes I also love the fab electric guitars too). This is one of those songs that brighten your day and EC sings it so well. 'Thank you for the music' I have listened to you since the 60s. Love it all. So nice to listen to a new album too xx

I've been listening to EC age gracefully for awhile now. Songs like Over The Rainbow, Moon River, ( with Jeff Beck ) and Smile all come alive for us whose parents enjoyed these songs in their time.
