  • While the Phanteks M25 in 140mm was an amazing overall performer, especially in radiator performance, let's take a closer look at the 120mm M25! Will it be just as powerful? Or even more?

    Not once do you show them actually spinning... in a video about fans...

    Finally an M25 120mm review. I looked for this everywhere but I could find only 140mm reviews. Perhaps Phanteks pushed it to be so, and you're receiving the 140mm version was not accidental.

    Still annoys me that Phanteks still hasn't made a 140mm version of the T30 yet...

    I have M25-120s in my old and tired P300a case. They move more air at idle than the old cheap Phanteks fans I had in it at full speed. And the old fans always needed to go full speed when playing a game. I don't think the M25s have ever needed to go full speed. They may have, but I don't remember. As far as the ARGB connectors go, the Phanteks DRGB connector is actually the same connector that Lian Li uses. Funny that I never hear anyone complain about Lian Li's ARGB connectors.

    I’ve been looking at these, but after this review I’m hesitant. I’ve decided I wanna swap to just go with non RGB fans. It would be cool and informative if you were to review the non rgb versions of fans next to the RGB/ARGB/DRGB variants. Everyone knows when a fan doesn’t have rgb, the performance is better. The M25 non DRGB are a bit cheaper, $10 each or $28 for a 3 pack (USD), but id like to see the performance difference before buying 12 of them. Would be great content to show the performance differences in all of the variants, not just 1 and assume the specs are the same for non RGB/ARGB/DRGB.
    Love your reviews man, I’ve been watching many of your fan reviews as I’m looking for non RGB fans that are fairly quiet and perform well as a case fan and radiator fan as I said before, but without spending $30+ per fan lol.

    You mentioned that they perform worse than the P12s? I'm trying to find 120mm fans, do these have the hum/resonance that Arctic P12 PSTs have been shown to have at certain RPMs?

    0:56 so as case fans @ max speed (t30 3000rpm, m25 1800rpm?) The m25 is almost as good as a t30?

    I've had the T30 for a while, magnificent fans f0r airflow and silence. However, I realized that even in load they never surpass the 800 rpm and my cpu and gpu (i714700k and 4070ti) are always below 56C.
    Therefore, I've decided to move to the white M25. Aesthetically it fits better my NV7 case, even if reversed. At 2000 rpm they should be sufficient to cool things down with 143 m/h of airflow. I don't mind if they get louder than the T30s above 1000rpm because they'll never reach that speed even under load.
    The rgb can be deactivated via software, so if I get tired of it it's not a problem.

    • @user-qb1nk1ey2d
      @user-qb1nk1ey2d 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Phanteks, arctics get annoying above 1000rpm, and radiators usually go around 1200 to 1500 rpm under load
