Awesome to see you out exploring our neck of the woods-grew up in the little blink and you’ll miss it town of Valentine (right before the Prada Marfa store)! Godzilla hill used to intimidate me in my little manual 2 door wrangler-I can only imagine how it was on your bikes. and I agree Chinati Springs is such a special place-glad yall enjoyed it! Keep up the awesome content! 😊
I'm sure I could talk Ben Hendershot into a MTB bike packing trip through the Ozarks. You could take it to the next level. Lol I do love motorcycle camping. Great video
Nice change of pace. I stayed in Dos Amigos on the 25th, Christmas night. The outdoor shower was quite the experience at 40F in the moonlight. Ran the BDRX up to Van Horn then back to East TX. Nice loop.
Wow! Not sure if I missed an episode or 2, although I recall you mentioning adventure bikes in the past. Matt, your riding is very decent - it’s lots of work riding gravel and sand. Good videography to boot. This is a real nice change of pace and scenery, and very enjoyable to watch (and I’m still only 20 mins in!)…. carry on! Oh Lordy, I’m now at 37 mins and I’m sweating bullets that no one gets hurt too badly! Ok, that was pretty epic. You’re a man of many talents!
Awesome moto video! My favorite mode of travel...... 1. Adventure bike 2. JEEP Gladiator ❤ Great riding skills Matt You rocked it! Mexican Coke is the best, real cane sugar makes all the difference.
What a great video! This was a great change of pace to your overlanding episodes. If I might make a suggestion, a steering stabilizer is a must for the desert. It really helps out in those loose sandy conditions. I highly recommend the Scott's solution if you don't already have one.
You guys need to give Danielle a trophy! That dismount on crash #4 was a good solid 10! Awesome trip and video! Good job filming on the bikes. Not exactly easy to do. 2 thumbs up!!
I’ve covered most of the trails and features yall visited in this video, but I’ve never seen that tunnel in Terlingua. Can you share the name or location?
Interesting seeing all the overlanders switching to bikes. Welcome to the club. I’d imagine on the trails in the overland thingys it’s disappointing watching all the bikes zoom on by like it’s nothing. Can cover so much terrain on a bike.
Assuming you obtained a permit to fly your drone in BBRSP, how difficult was the process to obtain a permit? I haven’t talked to anyone that has gone through the process.
Big bikes to be learning on, let her know to lean back and keep the front end light less likely to wash out. Sounds counter intuitive but speed helps too
How long before you wear body armor? I have many many miles on my old KTM 2004 525 MXC. They called me Armadillo due to all my armored jackets and armor. CE racing armor elbows, shoulders, back and chest protector. On top of the CE armor I added a Kevlar layer from a older military vest. For the knees I have the EVS racing armor. Good Job and glad no one got too injured. My KTM hits 100mph in no time. Its the old desert racer model.
I’m running a 07 525 EXC, same, armor is a must. Hell of a bike, never give itt up!!!! 2 weeks until it’s on the X. Son is riding a 350 XCF that’s plated.
That would be a blast. I did a lot of this kind of thing on an ATV through my 30’s. I’d have to have a good quality self inflating mattress to truly have a good time though. My Jeep’s RTT has ruined me for sleeping on the ground anymore. 😂
@OzarkOverlandAdventures I have been watching your videos for years did not know you road .. Not that I need to know everything about your life. Lol . I've been duel sporting all my adult life and really just started overlanding. Thanks for sharing.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures I had one on my Honda 450 you can get it in wide as well. And my wife and I met you in nw expo we had the little gladiator rc truck like yours
@ oh yeah I know. Good thing for me is I’ve got a light bike. I’ve got a cabin on 5500 in ozone and we’ve done burger barn to bubs to oark so many times. Getting that suspension dialed in helps soooo much with water crossings
Riding the donkeys was the worst thing in the video. Don't pay towards poorly kept, mistreated, over worked animals. Do better next time by not engaging with animal abuse.
Considering I was there I didn’t see any signs of abuse. They have a bunch of horses and donkeys and all looked healthy and well taken care of. No need to virtue signal when you weren’t there.
I miss my bike. Now, this video makes me want to get one again. Thanks for teasing me, Matt😅
I was just at Big Bend last month…I hit a bunch of those trails and it was super fun in a Jeep…It must of been Awesome to do on a Bike!
It was incredible!
@ no doubt! It looked Amazing!

One of your best videos yet!
Wow, thanks!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but as always your videos never disappoint! What an awesome adventure!
Thanks so much!!
Really cool to finally see you do this I’ve been waiting for it ever since you teased it I feel like it was early last year when you mentioned it!!!
It took longer than I expected too. Lol.
That is a 2-wheeler fun, with the touristy stops. Nice!
You guys will do just great. Nothing like the breeze on your knees. 🙏🙏🙏. For safety.

Appreciate it!
@ just finished the video!
Do you think Brice and his wife are going to consider changing bike after this trip?
Awesome moto video!

I’ve seen those and have heard good things about them.
I'm glad to see this. We've been talking about opening Merus up to Adventure bikes. Now we can give it a bit more serious thought.
I'm not sure I would support that. lol.
Awesome ride really enjoyed it thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you liked it!
Big bend is such a beautiful place, this makes me wanna get a bike for my next trip !
You should, it's incredible!

Totally agree! Thanks!!
Awesome Adventure! 😎
Glad you liked it!
I’ve covered most of the trails and features yall visited in this video, but I’ve never seen that tunnel in Terlingua. Can you share the name or location?
It’s on the other side of the parking lot to the Starlight Theater. You’ll see a deep ditch then find a way down and take a right.
Interesting seeing all the overlanders switching to bikes. Welcome to the club. I’d imagine on the trails in the overland thingys it’s disappointing watching all the bikes zoom on by like it’s nothing. Can cover so much terrain on a bike.

Big bikes to be learning on, let her know to lean back and keep the front end light less likely to wash out. Sounds counter intuitive but speed helps too
Yeah we learned that at DART. It's definitely counter intuitive to what it feels like you should do. lol

Yeah a good mattress is definitely a must! Haha The Exped one I had on this trip did really well.
What a fun video
Thanks!!
Glad to see you come to the dark side.😎
Very cool! How many miles total did you all ride?
I think around 500 but I'm not positive.
Only the Best gear I see....Klim ...Good to see you out there on 2 wheels
We found some great deals on Klim at Expo West. Like 40% off. Too good to pass up!!
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures Wow No kidding that's an Awesome deal....My gear cost me an arm and a leg up here in Canada 😂🤣😂
You seam very efficient on the bike have you been riding alot ?
I'm very new to adventure riding but I'm very comfortable on 2 wheels. I did attend the DART levels 1-4 training classes last year to prepare.
@OzarkOverlandAdventures is that your bike or rental?? Well for just getting started On duel sporting you did awesome
@@derrickkirby4841 it’s mine. Bought it last April from someone at the DART training. Had a Honda CRF300L before the KTM.

Do you a favor and get a Seat Concepts seat much more comfortable than stock.
i need to look into that.

Lol Matt you might have to get a bleep button in your editing software if you keep doing this. 😂😂
It’s a workout while having fun! Where is Cara we miss her!
She had obligations at home. She was going to be there.
am!!!!!!!!azon has some small fridges that'll be just fine for a bike
I love my jeeps but I like bike bikes better for adventures. I’m planning on doing the whole OOAT on my Honda 450x one day
That would be fun. The hardest part would be the water crossings.

Not Danelle’s fast mule, her fast ass😁
You forgot to air down the donkeys.
That may have helped. LOL
wait! are you really the one driving?? riding??😮
Well yeah. LOL
haha!! no i just noticed the rider in the video is very skinny.. hmm maybe just my eyes!😊@@OzarkOverlandAdventures

You sound pretty clear through 5hat helmet of yours
Thanks. I had a mic inside the helmet going into my chin camera.
