Better video than the lately. Back to how you were when I subscribed! I know you’re growing, but this is the serene off road in the woods camping that I’ve enjoyed of you’re from the beginning. Jmo
At least you're honest by saying you do TH-cam so you can travel and not travel so you can do TH-cam. I can respect that. No other channel have said that nor will they. But, we know alot of these are created just so the channel owner can make little money to finance what they want to do. Nothing wrong with creating a channel to finance your adventures and if the people like it they'll watch. Kudos to you. Unfortunately most of these are nothing but a bunch of lies knowing damn well they have these channels to make a few dollars and nothing's wrong with that. The wrong part is they lie about why they created the channel. So, thanks for your honesty and I'm hoping you reach two hundred thousand subscribers for 2025. Safe travels and blessings. Ps; and you gotta be cool having the JT initials on your plate just like myself. Peace
Hi Matt, thank you and Cara, thank you for sharing your awesome videos for 2024. I really appreciate you sharing your adventures. Looking forward to you and Cara sharing your 2025 adventures. Have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year.
Matt, I have to say that you are a hard working, creative and patient man. After seeing a few examples in previous videos, I now picture you running out to set up a shot, drive away, and then run back to grab the camera. I would like to see a video solely on how you plan and accomplish all your set-ups. Or would that be giving the game away? 27:30 I love my regular Tailgater Tire Table. Once I got it set up the first time, I put tape on the bar where it disappears into the frame. Then I slid the bars out a few inches to put some of my wife's bright red nail polish on the part that fits inside the frame. Let it dry and pull off the tape. Now, when you go to use it, stop when you see the red showing and tighten. It will drop right over the tire at the perfect width! p.s. 37:19 Driver side taillight is out.
I've made a couple videos on how I film. It's mostly spontaneous as I'm exploring new places I see what would be a cool shot, stop, set up the camera, back up, drive by, back up, get camera. LOL.
Matt really enjoyed the trip to those Ozarks your last one 2024 as you mentioned. Like listening to your goals for the coming year I hope that’s still going to include the jeep so? Have a great 2025 and thank you always for your sharing.
Always like watching ur adventures. My wife and I and 3 other families will be in the Ozarks week of April 7, watching ur vids is what has us wanting to explore there. I don't know if u will be around then but it would sure be great to run up on you there. I love the new rtt!!!
Be sure to do your research on the oil cooler because there is a metal replacement available for the jeep v6 engine. That way you don’t have to replace it again. Good luck. Thanks for another quality video.
I think I did the same trail in the last video I posted. LOL! Yours made it look a lot better. But those trails all look familiar - of course, I thought they looked like your old videos when I was doing them. The rocks at 20:30 spooked me. The bronco with me hit on the rocks pretty hard. I went around.
Have you ever looked into the spare tier slide that goes under your tent? It has cables so you can lift and lower it easily. Oh in a head hangs to your rack, it would be just above your refrigerator.
Hopefully in a year we'll be full time. We're getting a Class A diesel pusher and flat towing the Gladiator set up for overlanding. Looking at Skinny Guy or Harker for the JT.
I just got back from 4 days in the Ozarks. It was way different than this video. Deep water. We turned around a couple times because the depth. I love the Ozarks❤

try large cotton balls soaked in lamp oil. get you an old tin from some brands of dog fkea coller to carry them in. great fire starters that burn hot for 5 min or so and ignite fast on a flint rod
Tail lights still giving you issues. Driver side is out. Do enjoy the videos. Finally made myself take time to get on some trails in 2024. Hope to do even more in 2025.
My girl and I also had plans to full time starting in march of 2025. Unfortunately she passed away last week leaving my heart broken and our dreams ended. Great video Matt. Always enjoy seeing Ozark videos. What is the name of the firepit you set up? I thought that when you and Cara start traveling full-time you were going to be using the camper trailer you have? Have you two decided not to do that now? Thanks.
Thanks! The firepit is from a company called LifeDo on Amazon. I'm not sure if they still make them or not. I've had this one for a few years. We have learned that the Conqueror is a fantastic trailer but it's not ideal being pulled by a heavy built out Gladiator so we are selling it and looking at other options for full time travel.
Mat! I believe you reviewed a fridge that had a lid that opens both ways, I cannot find the review or the fridge and I'm interested as it would fit my setup perfectly. Any help with this is appreciated, thanks!
I remember that you two had a UEV-490 that you were talking about full timing in… Is that still on your list? Are you considering a GoFast for the Gladiator?
We still have the 490 but are selling it. It’s just too big to pull with an already heavy Gladiator. No Go Fast for me. When XTrusion Overland gets their topper finished for the Gladiator I’ll be getting that.
I’d love to know what trails you were on in this video. Do you ever send that info out? Anyway, when did you film this, cuz it’s been sopping wet for about 2 weeks now in the AR River Valley.
