IIt's a good thing to look towards the restrictions rather than away from them. As at 10 minutes, a glance at the shape of what you have in the left vertical chute gives you a 100 % probability rate of placing digits (the most obvious of which is of course to place the 9 in r5c3. Again, sudoku is often much like kids playing with blocks.
