- Episode 304 is the very beginning of a multi-part adventure that was filmed just this week. It's an epic tale about Joe Cole and I driving Blasphemi all over Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio while racing at three different 1/4 mile dragstrips. We also visited incredible custom shops like @TinSoldierRacecars while battle breaddowns, malfunctions and rainstorms. It was an incredible one-in-a-lifetime trip that we know you'll enjoy. This video covers the registration day and the first day of racing and road tripping during @SummitRacing@SummitRacingMidwestDrags .
Next Sunday we'll have even more content for you as we continue on our adventure. If you love this kinda content let us know in the comments and please like, subscribe and share this channel with your friends. By far, the best way to support our efforts here at Finnegan's Garage is to visit the website and pick out some merchandise. Every dollar spent on apparel goes right back into fixing and modifying the cars used in these videos.

A bad day living the dream is better than a good day feeding the machine. Live your best one brotha, i will watch and get a smile or 2 after my shift feeding the machine.
Dude you are so right it hurts if your doing what you love nothing else matters
thanks, dude!
I'm glad my wagon made your video!!! It was a great week...
Very Two Lane Blacktop moment putting on the "barn door" in a random barn
lol. i really enjoyed that brief moment in the barn with the car.
These drag and drive events are why I fell in love with Blasphemi!
2019 Drag Week Roadkill episode, the best ever.
Always a good time watching bike spinagain😂
Drag and Drive like this is my favorite. I think it really separates the "street cars" from the real streetable bad ass cars. It's impressive to me to see a 1,000+ hp vehicle not only drive down the road but pull its own support trailer with it.
if i was confident that it wasn't gonna rain and that I could find race fuel at every track then i wouldnt even bring the trailer. there's enough room in the trunk for all of the tools and our clothes. its the spare wheels and tires and fuel that necessitate the trailer.
@@FinnegansGarage seats are going in the LS boat as we speak. Come boating with us in Texas.
Eight passes and still didn't get the time you were looking for, sweating your ass off all day, no gas gauge or gas cap, rain, running out of gas........... Best day at work ever!
This commands mad respect. Lots of people think others have it easy but then you need to really look around and see people really working their butts off!!
Spoiler Much?
No air intake filtration... Don't get behind a hay wagon
@@meganbower127 dont read the comments before the video is over
lol you can definitely tell she runs the show here!! Kentucky Dragway is a beautiful track!!
The footage of you rumbling through small towns was straight 2 lane black top loved ever second
that's my favorite part of drag n drive events--getting off the highway.
Woo-hooo! Sooooo been waiting for Blasphemi to come back!!! So cool! Big time luck to you Finn!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for taking us along with you guys!
Those gear change clunks are so satisfying. Faceplated manuals ftw
Way to live the life brother. My Sunday morning procrastination of cutting grass and other stuff is always worth it. The greatest roadkill car where it belongs
It's so awesome seeing Mike racing in my tiny hometown of Clay City. I hope to see more drag and drive events make a stop at Kentucky Dragway.
Love that track and love your town. My family are from/in Letcher county and for 55 years I've been driving from Detroit right past you and that track for my whole life. Mentioned this somewhere else, Natural Bridge is my all time favorite state park in all of the USA
Thanks for the awesomeness and thank you for your time.
I agree
The lady at the end, with the welcome spiel and goofy look, hilarious. Let's see what she can come up with for each day :)
The Junkyard Digs sticker on the window makes me smile. Remember Finnegan, cars don't move if you don't put fuel in them.
Fantastic to see Blasahemi back in action. Great road trip. Rain yea it rains there. Can’t wait for part 2.
Props to the track management team for staying out there, that's amazing! 🎉🎉
Nice seeing the old girl back on the road hopefully she dont give you to much headache.
So good to see Blasphemi back at it. While I like all your vids, seeing you guys do drag/drive is the best. Keep at it!!
This is amazing!! I’ve been watching old episodes of road kill this week and I’m up to the blasphemi episodes!! It’s amazing how far this car has come through the years!!
i love this car! Thanks for watching!
Lol. I don't even remember organizing your trailer.
you'll have that on those big jobs.
Packed by miller lite
Finn you must know someone that can help you set up your shocks?
1200hp, full weight 4th gen, stock suspension, bolt on bars from Midwest Chassis, and looking to run on a radial. What would you recommend for shocks, or would you put the car on a slick? It's capable of 1400hp, but I don't plan on leaning on it hard, as I'll legit be daily driving the car, and hell yea, I'll make race week too, have it cleaned up and back to daily mode! Thanks for the advice!
Dude, you are the most coolest down to earth rich dude I have ever seen on TH-cam. Please stay humbled. No one likes a rich assh*le that doesn’t appreciate what life has blessed him with. Great luck in this event. 👍🏻👊🏻
Awesome, I love drag and drives! I would love to participate in one myself one day! Can't wait for part 2!
i always look forward to Finnegan's new video every Sunday
would be way cool to talk shop over beers someday 🍻
Had a very Two-Lane Blacktop kinda feel......& I like it!!
Race on brothers & appreciate this time together!
Livin' da Dream.......
Good on you!
Good luck with the car!!! The good news; a beautiful ride through the central part of the US!!!! God Bless the USA!!!
Love it you guys sweating to the oldies ! Lamo ! Glad you have fun doing it ! Peace and Love !
A little Richard Simmons humor there! 😁
Excellent , keep those videos coming. Many thanks.
Hi there guys the Ghevy looks great and sounds great too mate. Iam ford nut but i do
Like the old Ghevy cars too mate i hope you guys have a great time and be safe in your travels guys a fan from down under Australia 🇦🇺 mate
Nice!!! I motored on my 96chrysler in the rain for the first time tonight
Thanks for saying to come down with your mom’s mini van there’s a class for you!!!! I needed that. I been following all you guys for years and always wanted to go to one but can’t afford anything like what you guys have. Now I have motivation to actually go and experience this. I have my own little beaters and just maybe next yr I will make one. It looks like so much fun! Thanks Mike, Love all your uploads!!!
please join in on the fun. its the best kind of road trip ever.
The road scenes give me "Two Lane Blacktop" flashbacks, which is awesome!
Love me some Blasphemi! Great video Mike!
Awesome. Thanks guys. Loved it. Looking forward to part 2 big time. Bring it on.
Now THIS is the content I love haha
Really stoked to see ol 55 on the the roll again. These driving videos are lot of fun for people like me myself and I since motortrend not working overseas. Much love and succes for you fellas there on the strips. 💪🏻
2024 version of Two Lane Blacktop!!! Love This.
Mr. Finnegan you have a awsome car..!! Your doing a event 1day I wish I can be apart of, in 1 of my dream cars. (55 chevy gasser)..Thank you so much for sharing.. best of luck in the event an your travels.. an I can't wait till the next episode..!! God bless 🇺🇸
You know it’s a good day when a blasphemi video releases😎💪👍
I'm diggin' that 2-passes rule. Makes it a bit more fun for any spectators that might show up. And keeps the racers a bit more honest.
Love the junkyard digs sticker
I love following along with you guys! Keep up the awesome work!
I gotta say this because maybe others are out there suffering too.
Depression sucks.
Ive been down for awhile especially since my health started failing. At 55 i feel like i should still be doing stuff like this, a drag and drive, but when you physically can't do what you used to do it really wears on you. Ive been stuck in this funk before i actually went on disability in 2019 when health began going downhilll. I can sit here and watch y'alls vids all day long but can't even barely mow my own grass. Looking for a way out of this but no ideas yet.
Please keep putting content out there like Mike does every Sunday so hopefully someday ill wake up and all this will be behind me.
If you are a person suffering similar depression i honestly and truly wish you the best.
Hey Mike, i believe the rear suspension is bound up. The initial hook then blowing the tires off tells me the chassis is not following thru. If it did follow thru even if not right i believe it would act accordingly.
Maybe jack it up, unhook the shocks and cycle the rear up and down with a jack and just eyeball it. Might just be a bound up anti roll bar setting.
I have time like this too. I have some pretty cool cars ,but cand do much anymore an L3 in my back is jacket up.im am ab 10 years younger but it's not any easier. God bless you friend. 🙏
thanks for the input. i believe the actual problem is the front suspension doest have enough travel. we'll be addressing that here very soon. Thanks for watching and please keep your head up. :)
Fun sights and sounds! Love the sound of you shifting the car
Haven’t been on strip since November!? What!? Glad you are back at Mike!
You guys are the sh*t!
Tow a trailer behind your race car, unhitch, knock off killer times, hitch up, and head home.
Friggin awesome!!!!!!
its my favorite kind of road trip.
Blasphemi failed to fail at least for the first part😅😅 It's good to see it back at the track😎😎👌👌
HI GUYS LOOKS LIKE YOU WHERE HAVING FUN !!! KEEP GOING YOU WILL GET THERE !! AND THE RAIN !! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE TODD FROM MICHIGAN
Love it! I imagine 6speed life is nice on the highway! Looking forward to the rest of the coverage!
I'm a VW guy, so for me it's the 4 speed life. 3K rpm at 60 mph, 70 is more like 3700. Cringy!
@@HellmuthsHotRods I used to be a vw guy as well!
@@Canadianchucknorris69 Holy cow, I didn't notice who I was replying to, the man! Big fan here, to me you are the poster child for drag and drive. Everyone draws the line somewhere different as to what a street car really is. No one can say your car isn't a street car. Nice to briefly interact with you, have a nice day.
@@HellmuthsHotRods thanks for the kind words!
i passed so many three speed muscle cars on this trip. lol
My one drag race night was many years ago at Edgewater. I was driving my lifted CJ5 with mud tires. I think I did 17 second, 95 mph runs.
Kentucky Dragway. That’s one of my old special tracks (plus Beachbend Raceway Park ) from back in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Known then as Clay City. Thanks for stirring up some good memories.
Just love these kinds of videos. Very very good. Can´t wait for part 2.
Love the drag n drive events. I'm going to a local 1 here this weekend. Great to see Blasphemy out where it belongs. Cheers Finn. Safe travels mate
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure!
Great video got to watch blasphemi run in person at Ky Dragway in clay city great car keep up the good work
Love the drag and drive events as well as the build videos. From a guy that lives in the next town over
Great to watch this all after a hard day of work. Reminds me of movie Two lane Blacktop............Thank's
my favorite car movie.
Joe Bumkin is a hell of a man too hang out in that heat and watch you have all the fun .great jnob you'll get it fixed and run great i know you will your BIG money Mike
I love these drag and drive videos. Cars and I get to see a little of the country I'm never going to have time to see.
TEMU ratchet straps 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
" Oh, oh, Temu. We send all of our Garbage to you"..
Those things look like absolute garbage!
"Shop like a billionaire."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
one of the best videos from you...much appreciated
The T/A window sticker is awesome. Stay Tuned gentlemen.
I didn't realize you already got the new SuperDuty. Looks Good!
Hats off to you guys for pushing through that heat and humidity. That saps the life out of you!
Excellent thank you for sharing drag and drive
Great video, can't wait for next weeks. looks like your having a good time and hey that's what it's all about!! Is that the new tow/daily driver truck by the way?
Man it’s awesome that I met you in my home town of all places!! I like 6 minutes from that track!! It was crazy to just be at the right place at the right time!!
Great video with great editing, channel keep getting better, keep the good work up!
These events make America great to live in I see bald eagles everytime I see a race like this #starsandstripes
3 speed Lenco with a Gearvendor, pedal clutch and maybe go quicker with more fun! Good luck 🇦🇺🇦🇺
“Quick like a bunny”. Was that a Fear and Loathing quote I heard there?
looks like a blast ,wish they had one of these start at Woodburn dragstrip here in Oregon 😓
That thing sounds so violent!
Great video. Blasphemi has a mind of its own atm. Just flat out wants to grind up the track and you’re not driving it like you used to.
Not often you see a grinder being used to help tune a drag car. 😂
I really hope you figure out you need some rebound damping badly soon XD
I think the anti roll bar is bound up.
This is my favorite car in your fleet hope it lasts for a long time.😊
Great seeing Blasphemi back out again.
Also, pretty sure Summit terminated their sponsorship of this event due to the 'drag and drive' trademark issue.
Thanks for the entertainment, looks like a lot of work, but fun
We need a Drag Across America type race. Pick a track on the east coast, end up at a track on the west coast, in like a 10 day stretch.
Joe is priceless. I'm sure he feels the same about you.
I love watching the drives. I wish I knew yall were at Bg. I'd have called in and came by.
That second pass you should have had your cowboy hat on!!
Sidepipes FTW! The only thing I like better than open hedders are sidepipes when it comes to a '55 Chevy street/strip car.
When you initially fire up a car like Blasphemi, there is no way to not look cool. The 9 year old boy (making engine noises) in all of us *awakens* when the sound hits your ear. It is life.. in a nutshell.
1,955 👍's up Finnegan thank you for sharing 🤗
Finn and coffee on Sunday morning what could be better, .... Morning Mike from Southwestern Oregon. Take care, stay safe, cool and free Y'all !!!
Ashland?
@@danmyers9372 nope, Gold Hill... You ?
I really appreciate you work. You guys work great as a team
These are the best videos. Thx😊
Thanks for sharing! I was hoping to see some of your adventure. I am working on getting my car to a point i can participate in some drag and drive events
Looks like a Lot of fun, you need to make it so you can put the hood scoop block plate on with 4 wing nuts? When I did the oil change, I'd do the rear end gear & Transmission oil too. Good Luck
Awesome. I’d love to do that one year with my Barracuda.
drag and drive is basically a form of rallying .the cars drive between stages on the public roads then have a timed race over a set route before driving to the next stage , it's just the stages here are 1/4 miles.
Super fun adventure, Mike 👍😎
Too intense for me chief at my age! Best of luck and blessings. Thanks
Outstanding work, boys!
31:18 you know youve got a close friend when you get invited in to his ice hole.
Looks like you could benefit from slowing down the rear rebound a click. Hope you guys win! 🤟🏻😎
Smart move to eat and rest before the thrash 👍
