This is my car!! Shifter is a Kilduff shifter. Exhaust is the full Hooker Blackheart kit with motor mounts, trans crossmember, 3 in long tube headers, 3 in x pipe and glass pack mufflers. Car feels much better, very happy with it. Haven't put down any times yet since I got it back to compare but definitely feels straighter/more stable. Thanks again !!
There's no other way we would do it honestly. This type of work you either do it right or don't do it, there are quite literally lives on the line. One of the biggest parts about this sort of work is the trust people are showing us.
I ,watched a grand am stock v6 turbo, turning 7 s on the back wheels at LACR in palmDale California, in the 80 s , crazy fast, like a 175 mph,,,this car should do low7 s , if it’s turbo that would be good ,but never with a v8 , LS , 672 big block might get it in the 6 sec passes, great car here, thanks BigAl California
Well, I tuned in for a dose of compressor noise but all I got was more education on suspension alignment. GG! When I take my 66 Corvair to the local shop for alignment they recoil in horror saying we don't work on old cars. I said I have rebuilt all the suspension and there are no old rusty frozen bolts. We don't do old cars cause it ain't in the computer. I said I have the numbers I want. We can't do custom work.... I do my own alignment with a Quick Strings kit and it's usually close enough but I still like to see what the machine says. I took it to a new shop but as I watched the guy struggle I knew it was not gonna be right. Also his alignment heads attached to the tire not the rims. I have encountered some shops who's heads would not attach to a 13" rim. I have found an older shop that has an "older" guy with older equipment who actually knows something. I learn a lot watching you. Who says ya can't teach an old man new tricks!
Dam I should’ve did a 6.0 swap in my ss :( every dam time I watch TH-cam someone ls swapped another monte.. hursts lightning rod shifter setup is def nice touch as well!!

Cool G Body Monte, looks like fun. I am glad you are working on it!
Say Rich, You grabbed the front "k" frame stiffeners and one shot, the Right side bolt is backed out and the Left one has NO bolt......
Kilduff shifter. He’s built them in his garage in LA area for a couple decades.
I see a missing bolt on the front set up
Another great informative video!
