I was there, and I’ve been to many games. I think I’ll always say this was the most intense atmosphere I remember. You could feel it in the air in the stadium that night. I knew when I was there I was witnessing a classic
If you were there you will remember how insane the crowd went they announced that USC had lost. What a game, so glad I got to experience it live in Death Valley
@@jeremyfryar3424 Yes it was so damn loud. It was awesome. Was there with my dad and uncle. Was also with my dad and grandpa at the Auburn game a couple weeks later for Flynn to Byrd in the final seconds. Both games we were down 17-7 at half and had great 2nd halves.
I was there. Very warm night. An exhausting game. I didn't get home until almost 2 am - and I live in Baton Rouge. Just getting out of the stadium, walking to my car, and driving a few miles home took over 3 hours.
Yes, fantastic game. My brother and I did what we normally don't do - parked on campus. The place was overwhelmed with fans, and it was such a great atmosphere. So many young ladies wearing those purple or gold tight fitting dresses! Yea, you know the ones. After the game we just walked around the campus - I imagine it was a glimpse of Heaven. We got to the car and it took over an hour to get out of there. We stopped for gas at a place that turned out to be closed, and the alternator went out. It took us until 5AM to get home, and we wouldn't have traded that night for anything. Glorious!
@@dabandcaamp In 2007 yes I agree. But he also did sign some studs. 2011 Miles should have won a title with all his players. That was the best LSU team ever before 2019. He just needed better QB play in the championship.
Probably but Hester was an absolute truck. The dude never went down on first contact and always fell forward. He was almost more a fullback than running back.
@@derekbutts2660 pretty sure he ended up playing FB at San Diego Chargers maybe. Who I think also had Lorenzo Neal, one of best FBs all time with Alstott.
That whole day was special. Campus was packed, the stadium was over capacity, we couldn’t even get down the stairs. USC lost to Stanford and it was announced and the crowd went crazy. Then we celebrated in the stadium longer than ever. The next week we lost but still😂
If you want us to "relive" it, don't put the fucking score on the thumbnail. One of the joys of TH-cam is you can watch the game again (full or highlights) like you've never seen it before. NOT WITH CBS, THOUGH!
You couldn’t hear yourself scream at this game. & even being stuck in traffic after the game was fun. Probably because I wasn’t driving. But the people waking around yelling LSU chants as we’re sitting in traffic & tailgaters still partying as we pass by! Memories man 😢
As an LSU fan, this may be the best game I ever saw. It had everything.
What would you have done if they had caught that Hail Mary
Jacob Hester will always be THE #18.

One of my favorite rivalries as a Florida fan. Most times a really competitive game fun for all football fans to watch.
Same here as a Tiger fan but I went to The Swamp the following year and witnessed my Tigers get slaughtered... Great stadium though. 😂
This game and the 2022 game against Bama are two of the best LSU games i’ve ever watched
Such a classic!!!
One of the loudest games in history. 😳
Lsu and jordan hare are the loudest imo
@@erocs9747 husky stadium?
@@VigorousVirgoUp there but LSU has caused two mini earthquakes from being so loud 😂
@@mrbage53072? We caused 2 in one game. We have caused them multiple times
@@cane870 Yes that's what LSU did was 2 in one game and it way higher on the scale than anywhere over there 😂
I was at that game and still consider it one the greatest sporting events I have ever attended. Tough to beat the atmosphere that night!
All those gators defenders were nfl worthy but just freshman or that florida team would have won more

Greatest performance by a LSU team I've ever personally witnessed.
I remember watching this game with my paw paw and it was the 1st time I had fried Gator to eat. Good memories
What Nick Saban built, it’s a testament, this team functioned without a head coach or any offensive coaches for over a decade.
Stop. Miles was a solid coach, they would have won MANY national titles with Saban though.
@@23StudiosSports those wore definitely the last of Sabans players miles was good but he inherited a great team built by saban

Curley Hallman, Gerry Dinardo. Wasted years and talent.

As of the moment I am typing this, the series is tied 33 - 33 - 3.
When this comment was made, the series was 25 - 30 - 3. Crazy how it's changed!
