The amount of NFL talent on this field is incredible...on BOTH sides: Beanie Wells, Matt Flynn, Cameron Heyward, Glen Dorsey, Kirk Coleman, Trindon Holliday, Brian Hartline, Jacob Hester, Brian Robiskie, Ricky Jean Francois, Brandon Lafell, Tyson Jackson, Early Doucet, etc. etc. etc.
Ohio State could’ve had Ted Ginn,Ezekiel Elliot, and CJ Stroud and still wouldn’t have made a difference.SEC football in this time period was way too strong for teams like Ohio State.USC was the only non SEC team that could definitely beat any SEC team.I’m an LSU fan but I’m no hater USC was legit!Lol!Just kidding Ohio State fans your guys played great they just didn’t answer fast enough when LSU went on that run.
@joelirizarry If OSU would’ve had C.J. Stoud, Ezekiel Elliot, Ted Ginn Jr., Marvin Harrison Jr., Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, or any of our players from our 2014-2015 National Championship team and we could have beat LSU on this particular night in this National Championship game.
There would be so many penaltys on every other play of this game if it was played today. This was back before the refs controlled the outcomes of games.
Louisiana State were 11-2 or 12-2 entering this bowl game.Louisoana St had a stingy defense that was hard to move against especially if your not an SEC team.Ohio St was 12-0 entering and still couldn't find an answer to win this bowl game.I like Matt Flynn the qb.He was a solid qb.LSU was a monster back in 2007
Didn’t LSU have 2 losses during the season?? Gotta give them credit where it’s due they did take care of business and beat ohio state comfortably by 14,had they not thrown that interception late in the game that put Ohio state in scoring position they win by 21. But realistically they were lucky to even be in the national title it’s unheard of having a 2 loss team in the natty, the only other team to do so is Minnesota in the 60s…they made it but lost to Washington in the rose bowl in todays format with the playoff they wouldn’t have even been considered let alone voted in lol they were lucky AF to be in that game, but ayy they won with ease so congratulations LSU 👍🙌😅
Well both of LSUs losses were in triple overtime first of all... Secondly, Literally everyone had two losses besides Ohio State and Kansas but Kansas didn't even win its division or appear in the big 12 title game. Of course a 2 loss team was gonna make it. Just cuz u lose twice doesn't mean an automatic death sentence lmfao it still matters how everyone else does around you
There a video from a channel called kto and this season was the craziest season in college football history just for reference Missouri and Kansas were both 11-0 at one point. And Ohio State lost to a unranked team. This season was absolutely unpredictable

@@kylegross1081USC lost to a 4-8 Stanford team at home. They also lost on the road to an Oregon team who finished 23rd and 9-4. LSU lost on the road at Kentucky 8-5 and at home vs Arkansas also 8-5. Both games in triple overtime. USC had 2 ranked wins plus another in the bowl game. Those 3 teams finished 16,20,25 in the AP poll. They also beat Washington (4-8) by 3 and Arizona (5-7) by 7. @@snowstorm5867I mean, two of OSU turnovers led to TD’s, and if those don’t happen we have a tie game, or perhaps OSU scores on those. Worse, they had four total I recall. Because LSU was so good they forced those mistakes and took advantage of them.
