I was in 7th grade. Razorback fan living in Louisiana. I’ll never forget calling my friend Sam bringing the shit talk after an incredible game. Love and miss ya Sam may you Rest In Peace. WOO PIG
Had a house party during this game with several LSU fans (I’m a Hog fan). We had a blast talking trash to each other the entire game and had even more fun at a bar afterwards. What a game.
12:51 "The dream dies for LSU." It SHOULD have died, but it somehow didn't, thanks to Pitt beating West Virginia and Oklahoma beating Missouri. LSU went on to win the National Championship anyway. That just shows you how crazy the 2007 CFB season was.
Honestly you could fill the entire games of the 2000s with just games from 2007 Arkansas vs LSU App state vs Michigan West Virginia vs Pitt South Florida vs Rutgers The list goes on and on and on
Dude MacFadden and Felix Jones both played 6+ years in the NFL. McFadden Started almost his whole career, Felix Jones started for a couple years but was considered a #2 but still had starting potential. Only reason he didn't start the majority of his career with the cowboys was because of Marion Barber, he was a beast. Peyton Hillis had the shortest career but got a HUMONGOUS payday that one year that he straight dominated and was put on the cover of Madden. These dudes were PROS in college. FK what ya heard, I'm letting you know facts
How you forget Hester. Dude was a hero that year and still a legend in a lot of ppls eyes. If not for him, we don't beat Florida that year. And 3 losses would have changed everything. No Natty for sure.
And then they lost the following week, as did #2 WVU. 2007 was such a crazy year. Ohio State and LSU, who both played in the Natty, weren't even in the BCS top 2 during championship week. LSU was #7 and had 2 losses and it took a complete meltdown for them to get there.

Meanwhile you still root for a dogshit program who still hasn’t won shit. Congrats on 4-8 and keeping your titty having coach another year.
I was 13, also a razorback living in Louisiana! After we won, my whole family went outside and called the hogs as loud as we could (it was like 11pm🤣)
The craziest year in college football
Even though my LSU lost at home what a hell of a game from both sides that’s how a Saturday game post to be played
What a fun match

We also needed Mizzou to lose, Kansas to lose, and Texas Tech??
@@LSUOdyssey Yes...
The first game that season in which LSU was upset as #1, by Kentucky, has to be coming up soon....
Honestly you could fill the entire games of the 2000s with just games from 2007
Arkansas vs LSU

West Virginia vs Pitt
South Florida vs Rutgers
The list goes on and on and on
I have a big 2007 plan in progress might be late summer until it releases but it is by far my biggest project.
@@VictorsValiantdid you ever put it out???
This is the best football ive ever seen from both sides
Arkansas had a backfield of one hit wonders. Peyton Hillis, Darren McFadden, Felix Jones. They were all awesome in college though
Darren McFadden wasn't a one hit wonder...dude played a full decade in the NFL
Justin Felix Jones was solid too and Peyton Hillis has that one great year for the browns
Can’t believe they all combined for 50 yards against Tennessee in 2007…

The dumbest comment I’ve read on TH-cam in 2024, and it’s from 2021. What a fucking idiot.
In high school, Hillis was one of the scariest dudes lol he used to pull trucks for fun lol
2007 was the year of the biggest upset.
The most chaotic season especially when every team that was ranked #2 lost every week
Bama's had it's share of great RB's but this Arkansas backfield was the best trio of backs ever assembled.
This was right around the Benoit Fiasco after the Virginia Tech Tragedy
I forgot all about Hester for LSU wowwww

Great game 😎
The game that birthed an eventual #1 Mizzou... 😭

SEA Productions thank god the BCS is no more
@@PB4KC Why was it the BCS’s fault all those teams lost? Now we have a panel of idiots deciding playoff teams.
@@exacerbatedfellow1236 the majority of the playoff picks have made sense since the playoff’s inception?
The LSU kickoff kicker is 69. The man who won the Texas-OU game is Dicker the Kicker. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Peyton Hillis
That LSU field is so quirky

You must be early.
