Thanks for watching. Yeah, I found over the years that a sweeping hook set doesn’t tear the bass’s mouth as much and reduces lost fish. When you hammer a fish, especially using braid or fluorocarbon it rips a giant gaping hole that allows the hook to pop out.
Typically an eastern or NE wind isn't good. But a lot of that, I believe, has to do with the barometric pressure. I've whacked them in those winds before. Good job, good video.
Good job Matt. Many fishermen run to protected coves to escape the wind. You just proved them wrong. Great video as always.
