Why I Hated Kayak Fishing and Why I Loved It.

- Ok, so the title is clickbait, but if you don’t have the right equipment, kayak fishing can be an unpleasant experience. That being said, there are many great kayaks out there and fabulous resources within the kayaking community to make your time on the water enjoyable.
My first experience was out in the rivers of Tennessee with fast flowing water, you actually had to position yourself to go backwards and fish upstream. After, I got done banging into every bank and branch possible, I realized one thing. I hate this, but I kinda love it too lol its just one of those love hate relationships and now I love it in the South Texas bays catching reds and trout in my Hobie Outback 2019! Tight lines buddy!

Id love to be able to afford one. I’m struggling to make my boat payment every month. I’d love to try your native just to see what the pedal system feels like
@@MattStarkFishing it's just like peddling a bicycle. A little more work than a hobie but I hit rocks a smash it into the ramp and it holds up
Glad to see you experience the Kayak side of Bass fishing. Everything you said about equipment is exactly right. The Hobie Outback is a great platform for fishing fresh and salt. I’m currently fishing from a Native Slayer Max 12.5 Propel. Lots of great brands out there. One thing I can say is don’t be pressure into buying what everyone else has. When you go to buy one demo before buying. Find what works for you.
